Well, I mean... that's kinda how TF2-tech kinda has to work... for why would you simply have clones, when you can have clones prepared for any situation?

Enemy team have all but 1 control point?
Payload inches from your defense point?
Trying to take a base that's got nothing but sentries around every corner, medic-heavies guarding chokes, and pyros constantly spy-checking every corner?
How about an easy mission defending against GREY?

Gotta be prepared for everything...

Oh god no, teammates? what teammates? FFA Deathmatch, that's all the teammates I get... MVM is just, heh, a different meta. Sure you get the occasional... slightly impossible match up... but a vote to reset the map and a scout/pyro getting constant wave bonus's and you'll get through pretty easily.

I don't know why people started talking about the exit when REGIS was referring to the punch machine that Queen was talking about.

She DID mention the machine even if she didn't mention the exit.

Also: Aiden is tempting fate by asking if REGIS will throw him. However, that seems to be a hobby of his, judging by his behavior.
