Player name: Tack
Character name: Armitage (or Tor Armitage)
Race: Human
Class: Grimdark Test Subject
Basic: 6"4', tall and trim. He has an odd nanotechnology abnormality which causes damaged cells to be replaced with metal proto-cells. As such, he's a bit metallic in some areas, particularly high-wear like his hands and such. Most of the time he wears a Grecian-inspired metal helm, to protect his face from being metalified. In the rare cases in which he is not wearing it, he has straight dark hair which falls to his chin, and dark eyes.
Bio: Posessed of the kind of cynicism only an imprisoned immortal can have, he's slightly broody, or very flippant or light-natured in situations which don't exactly call for it. He does have a very strong moral fibre, though, and while he'll bend for the greater good sometimes, there's some behaviors he just won't stand for. He likes fine food and drink, but due to his 'condition', he can obtain nutrients from anything down to sand, and his liver metabolizes alcohol before it can hit his brain, so it's a little depressing. Also, he's extremely protective of his face and head, as mentioned above and below. Having been raised in one of those 'subject zero' style containment areas, he doesn't have the full grasp of social conventions, or, politeness.
Changing Scenery: He escaped from the lab sometime in his past- (either recently or long ago, however you wish to spin it). But, naturally, there's always people going out of their way to get him back. They can't exactly stop him, but destruction of his brain would cause it to he replace with a "superior" metal one, and he doesn't like to think of the effect that would have on his humanity. So he's pretty desperate to get away, in any way possible.
Advanced:
Abilities: He has a Jetpack! It's a small, self-contained one. Pretty much the smallest you can get without going into the 'subtle jets for ladies' section, in his time period. It usually runs off solar power/atmospheric gas, so it'll work anywhere, but it'll work best in direct sunlight, or sulphur pits. He also has his cell deficiency, so any damage taken is quickly repaired, and made stronger and more efficient. This includes his metal parts, as the destruction of it will cause the nano machines to re-optimize, so they just keep improving. He can also kick, and punch, like any roughhousin' lad.
