Whoa whoa whoa. You want to give killing machines the ability to plan how to hunt us down and the fortitude to actually pull off their plans? That is the most suicidal plan I've ever heard.

Like I said, end of Ghostbusters. Let's give these guys concepts that, you know, actually help us? This is a chance to give the enemies a universal weakness.

No wait, that gives me another idea.

Marshmellowmancy.

There is no way that could go wrong.

Sacrifice our innocence!  :D

We're not sure what drives those machines - only that they leave no corpse, they don't seem to rationalize, and that they will do any means to escape interrogation (ie That one suicide).

How's about sacrificing....something we won't currently miss, but which can be restored.

Like one of our kidneys. XD

But seriously, it said 'two concepts or ideas', both can be tangible or intangible, perhaps sacrifice part of a weapon as that part signifies a method of creation. Or Plum Juice, for that holds the idea that you can process plums.  :P

Or...or,
Marshmellowmancy.

Though we'd be giving the enemies knowledge of smores. The world will grieve for that loss.

Edit:
Quote
Sacrifices are not literal, in that you do not actually lose anything from sacrificing something. What you DO with this sacrifice, is give the enemies more power! At some points in your trials, It will be necessary to Sacrifice, like it is right now. Choose wisely on what two concepts or ideas you want to give the enemies.

If Reggie sacrifices his intelligence, then we'd have plotting scheming enemies, just like retro-villains! I wonder how Dex would draw curly twisted mustaches and wide faced grins, including the light-under-the-chin for emphasis of how evil they are.

This is Daros. I've received prior information from the author that pretty much anything that can be defined as 'mancy' is a serious threat.

I'm pretty sure Pillowmancy was responsible for the destruction of an entire peninsula at some point. Many details were lost in the great fluffernutter of 5043 HF

DO NOT GIVE YOUR ENEMY MARSHMELLOWMANCY! WE WILL ALL DIE WITHIN FLUFFY GOODNESS!

Hey, wait. Caellath looks like he's giving the concept of sarcasm//snarking pretty well! That's complete, then. Reggie's intelligence, and Nik's...snarkasm.

Edit: Or we could sacrifice Aidan's soul. Just saying.

Honestly guys, the GM is going to choose whatever we end up on as something bad.

Remember, "Sarcasm: Sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to !!cut or give pain!!".

That will give them a sense of Black Humor. You know, like the Joker? :P

I don't want to give them sarcasm. Let's give them the concept of clumsiness and idiocy. Even if they weaponize it, it would be amusing.

I also have it on good authority that whatever the enemies morph into they will also benefit us by dropping.

I generally do not like to post the things he says in here as they may be "mechanical spoilers", but for the benefit of not doing something totally stupid I will say this:

Quote
freeformschooler: so it is more: the enemies may now be made of fire, but at least they will give you fire stuff?

The idiocy part is what I was kinda going for with REGIS.

Dwarmin raises a good point. Give them rationalized thinking and the concept of honor.

Clearly, nothing is good or bad in it's entirety, especially the ones we deem as weak or flawed - idiocy and other aspects have certain characteristics to them that don't make them useless.

Alright, picked a bad time to post that seeing as you guys are in the middle of something.
If I'm allowed to give advice, maybe you could sacrifice "Honor"? Duels are fun, usually.

Actually, I like this. Even if it turns out to be bad for us, it at least sounds fun.

Honor isn't really a bad one, since that will prevent us from being ambushed as much, but keep in mind, that will make boss encounters much harder, and we may be forced into playing by a strict set of rules. I'm just thinking we'll see less enemies, but more really dangerous ones.

Bowser would probably say fire, given that he's fire resistant.

@Fort: But *they'd* be resistant to Fire as well. :P

Dose he not want to burn then anymore?
