FYI, in my first post in this thread, I decided to collect the known information about the monsters and combat.

@Fortis: By the way, that rambling was just Nikolai having a bout of douchebaggery (since it is part of his character; not liking to be helped, that is), not me complaining about help. In fact, help would be much needed now that monsters popped out of nowhere along with a bigger fish.

S'alright. I figured it was IC complaining anyway. Thanks for the heads up though.

Nikolai played Superstar Saga. You probably know the implications. :P

That trilogy has done no help to bowser's image... But they are good games (assumingly, I've only played the first and seen the third.)

I've only played the first as well. But in SMRPG, Bowser kicked plenty of ass once he joined the party. I liked that game because it showed more sides of Bowser than just rage and greed.

On one side, it gave him more characterization than just kidnap princess Peach, Mario rescues her, rinse, repeat. On the other side, it made him look pretty silly in some parts as well. Or for almost the whole game, for that matter.

late reply: Cael: Nimble is for movement, all that leping and jumping and such! There are skills that work over it, and it helps with moving away from foes or even dodging. I run dice based on these for avoiding damage.

I've had my own theory for a while that Bowser is Peach's boyfriend on the side and Mario is just too thick to put 2 and 2 together.

Fortis, that is actually pretty cool of you. I did plan on doing something akin to that myself, but the item for it isnt quite ready yet. (HINTHINT)

Err... I don't quite get why if I on a previous turn make the action 'identify approaching enemies' and 'stay closw to the party', I actually move further away (towards the path) and fail to do the former?

its because im an idiot. I just randomly moved the piece around and it happened to move away from the group. Then, I didn't write anything for it because I forgot.

So yeah im just a foolish idiot. Blame me for it.

Ah wait I think I see the problem.

Seuche followed the group warily as they made short work of the creatures. They seemed to be handling it alright without her and her guns - if the damn things even worked anymore, that was. The cuboid hadn't been lying about the dangers of the area, though - she made sure to keep up with the others.

She kept her eyes open and watched their surroundings for any more of these things, as the others seemed preoccupied with the battle.

((Not sure if we're supposed to be aware of the approaching foes? If so, Seuche will try to identify if they're the same as these two or different.))

Whenever I update I have already read the post a few times, and often only skim it, with stopping to read the bold parts. I forgot the whole "keep up with the group" since it wasnt in bold. Also, watch surroundings for any more doesnt mean "identify creatures" in my book, more like "take caution and watch the surroundings."

I am sorry if I am being a pompous ass, but frankly I dont get this at all.
