Souls:
The researchers and spiritual have long ago figured out that souls are incredibly dense collections of Mana, but the purpose they serve to everything is still a very big mystery. The ancient races figured out that souls have "worlds" inside of them, reflecting the person or creature it belongs to. These soon became known as "Destraiti", or spoken in a normal language instead of the language of magick, "Soul World". The Destraiti are not really that special, just odd worlds existing inside souls, but some things bound to you might appear in the destraiti, and if you can unlock your own soul world then you can effectively change it into something interesting. Souls seem to reflect parts of yourself like your memories, your habits and generally what makes you "you". The reason it does this is still not known though. Some legends say that a gigantic machine, somewhere out in space, is what produces fresh souls, which are then spread around by a mythical creature known as "The Tarotta". The mythamancers and legend magi are still trying to figure out what is true and what is bogus about all that.
