S'alright. Life comes first. And cake would be very agreeable to Bowser.

Calm down, hoarder. The team has to share them equally or shit may happen.

>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Equally shmeaqually, everybody knows the bard is the most important character in any adventurer party.

I've missed a lot.

And by that, I mean I'm a bad fighter. XD

* Tiruin thinks for a while.

Hmm, specifying attacks does seem to make a difference in damage potential.

Well, looks like we have 40 Tones for 8 people, so 5 to each player.

Also, plugging our numbers. This is a simple list, not counting anything but the basic numbers.

Melee Fighters (Higher Aggression than Awareness, High HP/DEF)
Bowser Koopa
R.E.G.I.S.

Ranged Fighter (Higher Awareness than Aggression, Low HP/DEF)
Cora Tealeaf *Has Ranged Weapon:Bow*
Aidan Faolán
Sadie Coldshoal *Has Melee Weapon: Wood Club*
Queen *Has Thrown Weapon:Rock*

Balanced
Captain Seuche Maratan *Has Melee Weapon: Wood Club*
Nikolai Amsel

--

Looking at our Inventory, I suggest the Hammer and Sword go to Regis and Bowser respectively. They should totally double as tools though.

With our coming upgrade in skills, I suggest everyone mediate on your role in the party!

@Tiru: Just means forcing our high Awareness chars into melee is dumb. Look at the list, and compare the last battle. :P

Aggression gives you melee damage, Awareness gives you ranged damage, I believe. You'd do as much damage as Bowser if you had a bow or something.

@Dex: Is my figuring about right? And is there a mechanical difference between a shooting weapon (Bow, Gun, Slingshot) vs a Thrown Weapon? (Javelin, Rock, Boomerang)

Anyone in for some SCIENCE?

If RPG tropes are any guide, Spirit will help us resist Status Effect attacks.

Ahh great. I thought different when I picked that attribute as my highest stat. XD

And I suppose Allure is just like the generic Charisma? Not that used but only for RP looks?  :P

Anywhoo, I hope we don't find any more leveled up enemies. Those ranged creatures pack a punch! And a strange law of physics in fitting a huge boulder in that small hole...

Eh, Bowser has natural weapons. Claws, spikes, horns, and such. It's one of his skills. Someone else can have the melee weapon.

Yeah. REGIS was designed to not need a weapon to be optimal in battle. Plus, a weapon would get in the way of his secondary function once it becomes unlocked. If Queen would be considered the Cleric, then REGIS is the metal Paladin.

Besides, I think the pirate captain feels naked without a blade of some kind. :P

My advice is give her the sword and Nikolai the hammer.

Spirit and Charisma probably have a use in Magic though. :)

@Dwarmin: Throwing stuff has no effect on stats. The items thrown are what define what damage is done!

@Spirit talk: Spirit is actually very very useful, Nikolai already survived a roll against fear with it, from the large creature he saw. The basic duty Spirit has is to keep you sane, but it also factors into spells.

FUNFACT: The boulders were actually alive, as they has mouths and eyes. They just have absolutely no way of being threatening, and instead are used by the other monsters for various needs!
