The black pudding from the last post was the droplet. I simply forgot to make note appropriately.
Also, I'm autoing Baradine based on the PM he sent me, and Tiruin based on the luck of the roll.
Turn back in doubt all the way to the place where the corridors branch.
A bit sheepish, you go back to the door to the garden, still left with the same choices.
----
((I see no droplet.))
There's delicious life force in there somewhere, I know it! Just gotta keep searching.
Draining Gaze;Defense (1d6+1=5, 1d6=2)Where is the life force? There! Yes, there it is, the precious, precious life force. Hmmm, rubbery. Kind of like squid. (3 damage dealt/healed)
<Baradine, requested procedure>
Fire bolt;Defense (1d6+1=2, 1d6=1)Baradine retreats back to the door into the library and fires a firebolt at the droplet. Unfortunately, his retreat seems to have impacted his aim, and he only scorches the droplet a bit. (1 damage)
<Tiruin,
Get auto'd (1d6=4)>
You're a fighter, you should be out fighting, right? Right. Charge!
Attack pudding/Defense (1d6=2, 1d6=3)You charge at the pudding droplet, and bring your axe down on the monster, but miss by a hair.
Attack pudding/Defense (1d6=2, 1d6=2)The ooze droplet ineffectively pushes Rorrim.
Enemy - 1
black puddingBlack pudding droplet - 5/25 hp - Melee to Baradine, close to Zalgus, Rorrim not visible to Trael or Rorgrin

The skeleton's motions sped up, noticing his foe's apparent weakness; his bony arms whirling the sword around in an arc.
>Try to keep it floor-bound, continue cutting at it like I just did.
>Kick out (some of) its legs from under it, if an opportunity arises.
Attack;Defense (1d6=4, 1d6=6, 1d6=5, 1d6=1) <accidentally made two rolls; since it's my mistake, you get the favorable roll>
You cut into the swinging monster, cutting a deep gash into the golden body and, as the creature descended, make another cut that severs it's gray thread, causing it to plummet onto the sand.
Reality break (1d6=1)It quickly rights itself up, and skitters quickly to the side of the room. Then, a strange sensation surrounds you. Is... reality cracking? Breaking? Are there not strange, gray lines shimmering where no space should be? Then, reality snaps back together, and you find yourself decorated by some gray strands of the same thread as the creature, while the gildengleam seems to be more throughoutly covered by the strands, and seeming confused.
<Level-up for you after battle.>
