"You know, while were here, and we got the money. I want to grab some personal tuning, I know I'm not front-line stuff but I don't like not being able to handle myself... besides, who needs a worthless halfling who can barely hold her own share of the loot?"

Turn 17, Day 2, ???

REGIS hurries towards a now drifting crystal, desperately wanting to catch it.

Cora and Garek are gettig chummy, as Bowser, Queen and Nikolai follow Aidan water-wards.

Dell sees the glitching horror leap out over the island... And not fall down. It just kept glitching into thin air. It never stopped giving him a horrible case of the heebee jeebees. He decided to distract himself with delicious treasure!

REGIS is still trying to catch the crystal in (or of) time!

The Doorman and Lift started talking about something.

Dell opens the chest and FINDS... A clock? A simple lousy CLOCK!? Eh, he guesses he can keep this thing and show it to the others... Damn, it must be broken, the arms on it don't even turn.

REGIS finally realizes that it's too late. As he meandered, the crystal got too far away. So long, sweet crystal. May you find where you are drifting off to.

Aidan and company are now at the point where he located the water. There is a peculiar collection of enemies over there, but they seem preoccupied with something. Better strike as the iron is hot.

Aidan jabs his hand into the ground and digs for a good 20 seconds.

Suddenly, Aidan feels a tremble and hurries away. The group with him does the same thing, as water starts erupting like smoke from an active volcano! It just keeps going in an incredible stream!

...Maybe a little too incredible stream.

Queen just stared at the water for a minute.

: "So... thirsty..."

Dive in and drink up!

(ACTION) Drink some water from the stream. If the stream keeps growing, talk to Lift for a barrage or something along those lines.

((Sorry we lost the crystal, Burkhart. I remembered you talking about catching it some times, so I didn't even mind trying to do it earlier and wound up forgetting totally about it. :P))

Nikolai stared at the stream and rose an eyebrow as he retreated slightly.
: "Now what...We could talk to Lift if it spreads too much at any rate."

Drink water.

"Mother a mercy... Yee haw! Look at that!" Dell shouted as the spring... sprung.

The clock could wait. He'd fix it later, he decided.

[ACTION] Full sprint to the water line. Drink to hearts content.

"That's... a lot of water... looks delicious too."

"Might want to see about the never-ending part about it though, don't want to get waterlogged..."

(ACTION) ROCKETUU PUNCHAAAAAA~~!! ...Or not. Head back to camp.

"NOOOO! YOU GET BACK HERE!"

REGIS leveled his arm and took aim at the now out of reach crystal attempting to launch his fist and recover it. Nothing happened.

"...I DON'T KNOW WHY I THOUGHT THAT WOULD WORK."

The loss of the crystal was sad, but there was nothing the metal man could do about it. REGIS decided to simply head back to camp, and away from that eerie glitch.

Turn 18, Day 2, ???

Everyone decided that they had had enough of being thirsty, so they all rushed to the rushing water.

It was clear, fresh and slightly cold. The voluminous lake that had just sprung had perfectly good freshwater to ingest, and everyone took share in the bounty.

REGIS returns, slightly defeated that the crystal deliberately floated off.

As everyone was busy with the drink, the two chatters noticed something appear from beyond the veil.

[ACTION: Open yon box!]

The crystal was gone. REGIS's disappointment was twofold by this, because now he realized that he didn't have rocket fists. Deciding to check on everyone else, he wandered back to camp.

"WELL, THAT COULD HAVE GONE MUCH BETTER... OH? WHAT'S THIS?"

REGIS approached the colorful box that had materialized out of nowhere.

"WHAT TREASURES DO YOU HOLD? HMMM?"

[Minor action: Query cube about object]

His thirst sated, Dell heads over to Cube.

"Say, pard'ner, I don't suppose you could tell me what the deal is with this clock? WIth all thats been happenin' I wouldn't be suprised if this wasn't just keepin' track of the hours."

(ACTION) Go check the box with REGIS.

Nikolai sighed and moved on to meet REGIS at the box.
: "Well, let's see and hope it's not booby-trapped."

Action: Bowser goes over to Lift and the Doorman. He commands Lift to resume work on the house, requesting a roof sturdy enough to stand on and a way to reach it from inside the house. He also asked Doorman about the Rad Bar.

"Ahhh... I needed that." Bowser said, after having his fill. By no means could it compare to the fine wines and drinks he could order while back at his castle. But when one is thirsty, nothing quite satisfies like plain simple water. But now that was out of the way, it was high time he got back to business. Their shelter wasn't gonna build itself. Even if it was supposed to be at the moment. Lift had apparently gotten distracted chatting with that new salesman. He thought he heard the name Doorman used once or twice. Odd fellow, but harmless. He hadn't paid as much attention before, thirsty as he was.

"Hey Lift! Smoke break's over. There's work that needs doing," Bowser said, lumbering over to Lift and the Doorman. "Finish up the roof of the house, would you? And make it strong enough for people to stand on. Some manner of accessing the roof from the inside. Stairs, ladder, whatever. It'll be a good sniping spot. Speaking of which, who's got Blam's remote? It was you, wasn't it REGIS? Bring him over, I wanna mount a turret on top of the house as soon as Lift is done. And an item magnet too. It'll be a steady stream of tones and supplies for us while we're off doing other stuff. Can't forget logistics. You saw what happened when we did in the dungeon. I don't want to have to withdraw like that again."

"Whatcha got left Blocky? That Rad bar do anything special or is it just food?" Bowser asked, turning his attention to the Doorman, after he finished barking orders at the Uniqs.

Action: Redirect lift to build a retaining wall

"Ahh, delicious water..... Now, how do we make it stop... for while our mermaid friend would be able to live happily under the surface, I'm not as affiliated towards the water..."

"King! Instead of instructing our builder to make a roof, why not a short barricade to stop the spreading? We would have more room to roam, and would be able to still access many things."

(ACTION): Go Scout out that area where the strange collection of enemies were. If possible, get a White Bow along and then scout that place out.

"If you say spreading, you mean the water, Cora?" Aidan said, turning towards her after satisfying his thirst. "I don't think we need to worry about that anytime soon, the elevation of our house on this seemingly flat land would deter it, unless the whole place is flooded, that is.

"If nobody would use a bow, I'd get one and scout out that place over there,"
he pointed at where the pack of enemies were before the lake had filled, "Just to see what they're up to, of course."
