Despite her murderous intent, Queen's rampage was stopped short by a large metal hand grasping her by the back of her collar and lifting her into the air. Blind in her fury, the petite woman continued to swing at Nik, though unfortunately hitting nothing. Then suddenly, in one swift motion, REGIS popped his own head off, and tossed the royal into his chest cavity, then returned his own helmet-like head back where it belonged. He was built to carry injured people to safety, but for now, he'd have to serve as a barrier to keep Queen from getting to Nik, or worse, to keep Nik getting to Queen.

"OKAY. REGGIE HAS HAD ENOUGH OF THIS."

REGIS shot a glare at Nikolai, then proceeded to head out the way they came with his new passenger.

As REGIS walked back to the staircase leading up, he could feel the thumps from his enraged passenger. Maybe talking to her was a good way to calm her down? She was normally so level-headed. REGIS's body core was inside the surprisingly spacious armor, sharing its space with the unwilling Queen. It spoke to her in a manner that was oddly different than REGIS's outside speech.

Bowser mumbled, shaking his head over Nikolai's and the queen's clash. He was glad REGIS intervened, though the queen still sounded mighty angry over the whole situation. Bowser decided he had enough though, and lumbered over to Nikolai.

"Alright, listen human. I've put up with your annoyances long enough, mostly because you're bright and a good fighter. Your flippancy towards royalty, I could tolerate. But I don't know if you've got such a lack of self control over your own hormones, or if you just enjoy needling your allies into such a towering rage, but it stops here, got it? We have to work together for who knows how long in this god forsaken place, and I can't afford you splitting up the team and angering the healers." Bowser said. "Now, whatever sarcastic response or rejection of authority you probably want to spout off, I don't want to hear it. Lay off the queen, or I'm going to cram you back into the Grim Chest."

"Now, let's get back to the surface," Bowser said, turning and heading back for the stairs up. "We're full up on tones to spend. And I'm thirsty, and need to get one of those juice boxes from that vender."
