: "Diplomacy time over, let's get to slicing and dicing." Nikolai said, swinging his weight at the sword once more, trying to target the enemy which seemed an object with eyes and a mouth.

They had already destroyed one of those and the impression it was bad news lingered in his mind.

Swing the sword at the licking creature.

"Bwahahahaha! No one messes with the King, and the koopa troop!" Bowser laughed as several enemies were utterly crushed by their combined charge. With as many people going for the maw thing, Bowser decided that maybe he should conserve his fiery breath. His claws should be sufficient to finish this fight.

"Stomp the wall thing! Don't let it lick you!" Bowser shouted, as he clawed at the wall monster.

Sadie was a bit panicked in such a large battle, but she kept her eyes on the enemy...here goes!

"HEY SPIKESUN! IFFUN WE'S CAN TOSS THIS BIG MOUTHS OUTS OF THE WAY, WE'S CAN TAKES OUT THE SQUISHIER ONES IN BACK! WANTUN TO TRYS THROWUN ITS?"

If Bowser agrees, lift and throw the giant mouth creature as far behind its allies as possible. If not, punch it right between the eyes.

Aidan readied the sword as he remembered the ship marines did everytime there was a boarding party. Bending his feet and aligning the blade to make both he and the weapon more diminutive; if the tactic worked at all with these creatures, the feint would give the idea of weakness due to size.

Though- there was Cora...

He wasn't that proficient with the blade compared to the bow, but in a situation such as this it would prove a feasible tactic. Blade and Bow, striking together. This sword looked much like wood, but he wondered if he could use it to it's full potential...

"Hold them back!"

Swing my sword at any creature that isn't yet dead when it's my turn to attack! If possible, move onto another creature after attacking again.

Or just flank those beasts.

Turn 11, Dungeon




The three filling the Melee Zone let out a gruesome assault of claw, fist and sword! The despair inducing critter is slain!

Aidan is a little miffed about not being able to move into the Melee Zone, but as the rules say, only 3 in each Zone.



Instead, Aidan uses Truesight and uncovers a weakpoint on the blue foe!

"Aim at the neck! It looks weaker than it should be!"

Queen, Sadie, Dell and Cora act accordingly, though Queen doesn't fire a bolt when she lets go of the string! It seems that the Cancerous Bow actually needs arrows!



The sapphire creature is defeated and explodes in a cloud of blue. It's fellow Scale Trashers grow dreadful because of the horror they just witnessed.

Queen is a little angry about the bow.



The team quickly rids the foes of their lives.

My oh my what a glorious pile of phat lootz! Dell's passive ability kicks in and supplies an item from his homeworld!

: "Hooray, we won! Although shame this bow needs arrows. Bowser, could you carry some tones while I fiddle with the Cube a moment?"

Queen put her cancer bow in the last slot of the cube. Afterward, she looked on its menu and tried to open the "Bell of Heroes" menu.

: "Now Nik, do you think I could have a word with you in private?"

Satisfied with the outcome, Aidan whirled his sword in a dramatic fashion before stowing it in a secure location -- in his hands.

"That was...quite strange. An enemy that speaks like gravel, along with multiple others which we easily took out before they could touch us.

"Seems much like our lucky day."

Aidan takes the Cancerous Bow from Cube and applies Truesight to it.

"On the other hand, the path is now clear to whatever they were guarding and...if you don't mind Queen, I'll be checking this bow. A slight quirk of mine, really interesting thing." he said, intrigued by the new creation that Queen herself made.

"Ironic, though, how this wooden blade has never touched our foes. Shall we proceed over to yon wall?"

If possible, examine the huge hole in the wall that...doesn't seem like it's filled with gears. An expanse of blackness, maybe?

((Nah, it's actually Cancerous.  ))

: "Now Nik, do you think I could have a word with you in private?"

Nik gets all the tones he can carry.

Nik moves to check on the tones, pocketing some before turning his head to Queen as she calls to him. Her words brought him a slightly ill feeling of bad news; high chances of receiving either a slap to the face or a lecture on why he was immature and he should just control his libido and blablablabla...To be sincere, the lecture would probably be worse than a slap. In fact, he wouldn't care about the slap, as long as she didn't try any lecturing afterwards.

At least the slap would be done quicker.

Dell developed a massive grin and rushed toward the box. "Hooee! Look at that, a genuine Mann Co inter dimensional crate! Hopefully this place disables the key system. Let's see what we got here..."

: "And it is true that I look young enough to be just a girl, maybe even a Human teenager. However, I am thirty-three years old! That is much too old for a boy like you, even a womanizer. But, even aside from that..."

Queen walked up to where her face was one inch from Nik's.

: "Is that all?" he asks, his face the same as always, except with a good amount of spit derived from Queen's yelling. After some time standing there like nothing had ever happened, he simply turns his back to her and goes back to the group, wiping his face with the sleeve of his jacket. "You are Queen and you are Zelda's mother. The fact you are married doesn't come as news for me." he completes, turning his head to stare at her with a sly smile as he walks.
