Dell readied his bow. Fire upon first sign of aggression.

REGIS just stayed back, letting the better wordsmiths of the party do the talking. If the diplomacy broke down though, he readied himself for a Charge Assault on the squishiest-looking enemy.

Nik took a moment to watch Queen, scratching his chin a bit while doing so before finally revealing his thoughts to her.
: "You know, you have a nice figure, but I wonder why you keep hiding it under those robes." he commented, dead serious.

Nik dodges under the whap, Engie's hand brushing against his hair before he gets back up.

Dell rubbed his forehead. "I think we're all gonna have a little talk of what constitutes acceptable battlefield behavior after all this is over."

"Alright, focus everyone, let's hold off that kind of talk until later. Or until we're all alone without any enemies."

Aidan strode over to Sadie's side. "I'm ready when you are. However, yes- I believe trying diplomacy is a better option against this superior foe in terms of numbers. While we may have the advantage of striking first with this range, we are hopelessly outnumbered unless we can create a chokepoint right there-

"Hold up. What's this here?"

Inspect that...plaque? Under the banner of the four tomes! Read it out aloud to the rest before diplomacy starts.

If this would end well...I'd better ask Queen what she saw.

That was odd. The queen looked like she had seen a ghost. It takes quite a bit to rattle a woman of her courage, so whatever was beyond the door must be something truly alien. Bowser was tempted to take a look himself, but then again, it'd be best not to tempt fate. He made a mental note to ask the queen about whatever she saw beyond the yellow door. The group, meanwhile, was moving on, and Bowser thought it best not to tag behind and followed after the rest.

"Now it's getting interesting," Bowser said, upon seeing the rather large group of foes ahead. Not to mention the blue looking one. A few were trying to talk to it, maybe it would be peaceful like the one manning the shop on the surface. Bowser doubted it would work though, a big brawl was quite possible. As the others talked, Bowser sized up his opponents. The scale trashers were no problem, and the bat things looked fairly weak. He was worried about the wall maw thing though. It would need to die fast. A charge, followed up by a blast of fire might do the trick. Foes aside, Bowser wondered what the levers on the far wall would do. He was hesitant to test them, as the last one caused a cave in though.

Bowser just gets ready to do a charge assault, in case a peaceful contact failed.

Turn 10, Dungeon




Everyone readied themselves as Cora and Queen tried to negotiate with the fiends!



Sadly, their blue leader doesn't seem to speak anything other than horribly screeching static, and is thus unintelligible.

Meanwhile, Aidan and Nikolai was checking out the Plaque:



This one seems much better written than the others. It talks about some sort of war?



The enemies start charging towards the group, and they react in kind.

Conquest!






The two groups clash together in a Charge Slam, the heroes narrowly outdamage the foes and win the small feud!



Their charge continues and smashes a whole deal of damage into the enemy lot! The big tongued foe remained though.
