Turn 1, Dungeon




They part up in team ALPHA (Dell, REGIS, Aidan, Sadie) and team BETA (Bowser, Cora, Queen, Nikolai). They move out.



Team ALPHA locates a crack in the ground, along with a series of batlike creatures hanging in the ceiling.



Team BETA find some kind of stick with a skull on it stuck on the wall.

Those creatures on the ceiling didn't look friendly, but they did look like they were asleep. Sneaking by them wasn't much of an option since they would likely have to backtrack eventually, and if they ran into trouble, the other party would have to fight through them to help. Worse yet, the creatures might pincer the party in. However, this was a perfect chance for a sneak attack. REGIS lowered his voice.

"OI, POINTY-EARS, SADIES. HANGUNS BACKS AND KEEPS SHOOTUNS DA CREATURES. REGGIE'S GONNA RUSHUN INS AFTERUN DA FIRST SHOTS."

REGIS prepared to charge-attack the creatures after they woke up.

[Tiruin]

Upon seeing the bats, Aidan stopped and examined them.

"Alright, looks like normal bats, keep your voices down an-"

"OI, POINTY-EARS, SADIES. HANGUNS BACKS AND KEEPS SHOOTUNS DA CREATURES. REGGIE'S GONNA RUSHUN INS AFTERUN DA FIRST SHOTS."

-...that sounded loud to me. Aidan said, partly alarmed by the thought.

"Bats are harmless in their nature, they won't attack unless provoked. Or...these are made by the Reaper-thing and are just lying in wait. What we should watch out for are...erm, their _droppings."

A brief moment of silence hung over the group.

"I'll stay front, nock your bows- wait, we have no arrows. Alright, just pull on the string but don't release."

Take point along with REGIS. Sneak attack ONLY if Sadie OR Dell does so. If not, then examine the place and defend Sadie//Dell.

"My name is Aidan, Reggie."

[Caellath]

Nikolai stared at the stick briefly before shrugging.
: "...I'm not touching that, I got my fill of these magic mambo-jambos with the Horror Heart."

Check visually for traps.

"Hmeh... it could be a trap... or it could be the way to open the door to the next room... which may or may not have enemies behind it... I say we pull it nonetheless, got nothing to lose."

"Heh, yeah I'd bet you'd be wary of the little things after something like that."

Sadie didn't think the little creatures would be much of a threat normally...but the rules were odd here. She couldn't risk them hurting her friends.

"I wish Cora had gone with us-she could have pacified the poor little critters. As it stands..." Sadie said, drawing her bow.

Action: Prepare to shootun da bat-creatures

[Dermonster]

Dell eyed his bow. "Never used one of these before. Hopefully somethin' from home drops." he muttered as he pulled the arrow back. He paused and replayed what he just did a few times.

"Excuse me, but where did this arrow come from?"

[Fortis]

"Here, I'll pull it. If it is a trap, I can take it. You lot hang back. Especially you Nikolai. You're still looking rather frail since the fight with that dry bones Kaina." Bowser said. Taking a moment to check for any obvious traps, he walked forward, grabbed the lever, and pulled it.

[Caellath]

The young man checked his own body briefly, pulling a sleeve to check on his skin and touching his brow before shaking his head.
: "I am as good as I can be as far as I know."

"Well, as far as I've as seen as you, as you've as been as well as off as one as human as could as be! ..... Too much as's..."

: "No, is right. You stay back here with me." Queen put her hand around Nik's shoulder and waited on Bowser. "Let the King try."

: "I already said it, I'm not touching it." Nik said, staring at Queen's hand. "And if I may ask, how come you look so young if you were a queen and had a daughter?"

Queen thought about it for a minute. She didn't leave Hyrule much.

: "Believe you said... did not come from my world? But Human lives on your world must be short too. Interesting similarity."

Turn 2, Dungeon




Bowser walks over and pulls the lever. A loud SKRONK can be heard.



Suddenly, the violent noise of collapsing stone comes from behind the door. Queen tried to open it, but the door wouldn't budge. Part of the floor collapsed and opened another hole.



Just as they started to plan, the bats all awoke at once, to the surprise of everyone.

CONQUEST!!





REGIS initiates a Charge Assault, but sadly fumbles as there is no foes on the ground to smash into! He politely stops in the Magi Zone.

The three bowmen fire their shots, Aidan's piercing the enemy and killing it on the spot, much to his own surprise.



The bat foes' assault, dealing 2 and 1 damage to Sadie and Dell! Aidan's defense protected him from harm.

Airborn Combat:
Foes in the air have their own Melee, Medium and Magi Zones, but the special part comes in when a melee fighter has to fight from ground to air. It's simply impossible, as the melee fighter cannot attack into the Air Zones. Ranged fighters can fire into all three Air Zones though, and likewise units in the Air Zones can attack any three zones on the ground. If two groups of airborn enemies meet each other, the fight happens just like if they were on the ground, with Melee Zones protecting the Zones behind them and such.

"OI! UGLY FLYUNS THINGS! COMES AND GETS ME! YOUSE WINGS ARE STUPIDUN! YOUSE UGLY AND SMELLUNS LIKE DUNG!"

There was no way of knowing if the taunt would make the bats focus on REGIS or not, but he had to try. REGIS moved forward as quick as he could. He needed to heal Sadie, and quick. Aidan seemed to be impervious to the bats for some reason, and Dell could handle a few more hits like that before needing help.

"SADIES! COME HERE AS QUICKUN AS YOUSE CAN! THEY'S CAN CHASEUN YOU EVENS IFFUN YOUSE RUN! AIMUN FOR THE WEAKS ONES IFFUN YOUSE CAN'TS KILLS THEM IN ONES HIT!"
