Upon seeing Sadie's request, Aidan thanked the merchant before quaffing down that plum juice in his inventory, handing over the paste to his Merfolk friend. "Enjoy, Sadie!"

Sadie beamed.

"Thank you so much, Aidan-I'm sure it will taste better since you gave it to me-it make sense, in a sociological way."

"Does anyone have the feeling that we're not being watched? I saw several of those black creatures earlier, but they seem to have strangely disappeared once Tick -- the time crystal over there, appeared."

"Must be getting close to that time of day... the sky is always calmest before the storm... Or they just gave up, but I doubt that. Or maybe we just can't see them."

"I would guess that they are gathering together in larger numbers for an attack-the smaller ones would not face us alone. We should not be too idle...perhaps a scouting mission is in order?"

Ding finishes the third wall.

REGIS hefts the cube bell-wise and plants it as Ding appears in front of Dell and Nikolai.

Bowser kinda zones.

Aidan tried to lift the Box, but it was too heavy for him. He then tried to hand Sadie his paste, but she had her pockets full. He then decided to just drink his Juicebox. He was almost bursting with hydration now. More liquids would just do bad things to him, he just knew it.

Queen fiddles with the Duplicator:



Supplying the Hero's Heart, the machine created a copy of the bloody bandana: Heritage Item - Kaina's Headband!

The headband that was spat out almost shone with latent potential! Queen understood that she might have made some incredible item!

The Bloody Bandana spits out of the Blueprint Box again.



Sadie locates a Spirer Fruit!... Her inventory is too full to pick it! HUMBUG!

Cora moves towards the Bunker entrance that pomfed up. She notices a small plaque at the foot of the odd entrance:

Dell and Nikolai jumped a little as Ding yelled:

: "WELCOME MORTAL, TO YOUR DOOM!!! Just kidding of course! Hello new person! I have already set up your stat screen! Go take a look on the Cube Interface!"

-Passive- Suddenly the world of daros makes a lot more sense with how simple things fit together. Basic stuff like tents, fences and  other doodads can be created.

The user figures out how to create toolboxes which unfold into various machinery.

Aidan then approaches Ding and asks to increase his Health Part. 5 Tones are removed from the cube and the deed is done. The bell tolled once, and Aidan could feel his powers grow from inside.

Dell blinked, then laughed. "Hyper little guy, ain'cha? Lesse..."

Dell examines the interface for a moment. "I have to pay good money to learn how to make a fence? What kind of nonsense is that? Hrm. fences are as simple as... as... uh." Dell scratches his head. "Well spin me round and call me Rosie, I can't remember."

Dell thought over his options for a minute. "Right, I'll need a minimum of 14 of these 'Tones' ya'll use for currency. My main gear is in my toolboxes and this thing says I'll be able to build them without my machine operandi from back home. Plus I ain't too fond of this here bow, and you look like you could use the equipment that comes from the Mann Co quantum weapon shipping. This one here unlocks my full capabilities as an engineer and the other helps out everyone." Dell frowns. "I don't much like the look of those smaller numbers down there - If its anything like the machine back home, it means I'm missin' somethin' vital, but that's a secondary concern."

Regardless of whether Aidan accepts the item or not, Queen puts on the normal headband.

"Nice to make yer' acquaintance yer highness. Names Dell, Engineer. I was just gettin' some of my old machinery back. He waved off toward the Bell. "What can I do for yeh?"

Dell chuckles. "Me, not so much. But I can build things that could knock Bowser over there flat on his back in less than twelve seconds. In laymans terms, an engineer builds things. Big things, small things... Things to heal, transport, and defend with a fierceness mostly."

Dell was struck by a thought. "Or, at least I could back home. There wasn't much in the way of magic to muck up the battlefield there, so it might be different than how I describe."

Aidan felt better than usual, as if the self he was in this place was only a fragment of his true self in reality. Smiling, he made his way over to Sadie. "Hiya Sadie! I was just wondering if you'd want to accept this again, now that I can comfortably carry something else, so I'd gladly hold that root for it instead" (and possibly for you to eat it as a free action  )

Afterwards, he checked the headband that Queen was holding-- did she change her name lately? -- he felt a knot form in his throat as she mentioned Kaina, but decided to accept in wearing Kaina's headband in memory of the young girl.

With that, he turned to Cube before planning to scout out the land.

"Also...I'm taking landscaping and truesight. The former taking priority over the latter if there are not enough tones available."

Curious, REGIS moved behind Cora and examined the inscription as she probed the grate with her hands to try and find a handle. A feeling of dread washed through him. This feeling was becoming way too common for his liking.
