: "How-" *Yawn* "...About a house?"

: "If we are talking a regular house and not some sort of, constructed terror tower or a castle, it should at most be 5 Tones!"

Turn 24, Day 1, End of Day

Everyone were getting really sluggish.

A few of the people already drifted off, Seuche finally got the Eastern Breeze equipped, and laziness was all around.

Queen looked for something new to use as a tossing weapon, but she found nothing, on account of her sleepy eyes.

: "Cube, what is the simplest way-" *Yawn* "T-To, restore Magick Part around here? In my world, could merely rest for a while."

: "Well, do that! Rest! It usually takes a couple of turns to restore a single point of Magick Part, but it should come back to you naturally. There are drinks and foods that can restore Magick Part too though."

Cora pays the Tones as the bell starts to ring once more. The would around her seemed to bend itself easier now. The trees dropped their fruit, the clouds moved away and the clearest day was seen. Music wafted through the air as the rocks got up and started marching, the animals and creatures all joined in harmony, in happiness, in... Control. Then the vision died like an ant under a spyglass, the quick eruption of reality came flooding back.

"...Wait, what was that all about?"

Sadie got ahold of the root, and checked it for details! Her improved vision and knowledge of the world seemed to unfold the abilities of the root, but alone it didn't seem able to produce anything.

: "Ssssh ssh. Only dreams now."

Those who were still standing, fell over and fell asleep.

Day 1 has ended.

As he drifts off into his low-power diagnostic while on shutdown mode, REGIS hears a strange voice.

"Do golems dream of electric sheep?"

Bowser felt his fatigue worsening. It had been a long while since he slept, after all. He had been active for around a day in this new world, and before that, he was in the process of strategically retreating from another fight with Mario. Yawning, he just flopped down onto his belly, and pulled his arms, legs, and head into his shell. Might not be the most comfortable, but it would be a safer way to sleep. Still, he wished he was back in his castle again. If nothing else, a dream of it would be nice.

Cora was wanting to sleep atop one of the iridescent trees, so that her dreams may contain the illustrious 'night' sky... But sleep took it's grasp before she could even reach the base, so she just curled up in the roots, head upon arms, humming lullabies of her youth...

Sadie felt her head drooping. Hmm. This was certainly odd. She usually slept only once every few days-her kind could go almost indefinitely half-sleeping, half-swimming, as was common of most marine mammalians.

So it was odd she was yawning, tilting, arms wrapping, head laying down on a something-it felt like a soft little pillow. With a beard.

It was Aidan!

Oops.

Nikolai just stays in his light sleep as he was beforehand.

Keep the light sleep.

Aidan stood still as everyone went to work about him, his mind set on the thoughts of yesterday and the current time, trying to make sense of the world he was now in.

Looking up, the sky was still in it's beauty -- concentric spirals and azure lines criss-crossing through the skies. Reminding him of home.

He heard the others call out their requests to Ding, and Cube speaking...their words and sounds only coming like an echo to him as he mused. Perhaps there would still be tones enough for him when he would awaken? Everyone else should take priority, this he knew deep in himself.

Survival will only work with sacrifice.

But what was sacrifice? They were all technically dead, in that fraction of a second in their own worlds, yet existing in 'real time' in this one. Perhaps there must be a connection with their trial, and their deeds other than what Cube stated.

Would this sleep cure all dreams?

The dreamworld -- a land of the Fey in his belief, one that held secrets of magic and mayhem, complementing each other as the mind tries to make sense of the abstract. Perhaps this was also the way things worked in Acos?

Aidan snapped from his wandering thoughts, feeling something akin to smooth silk brush against him.

Shrugging off sleep, he could make out the visage of Sadie, calmly resting near him. She looked beautiful in the light.

And the others, also succumbed to the clamor of slumber. Following suit, he caressed Sadie's hair once more before sitting down with back propped against a boulder right next to her.

Cube, Regis, Nikolai, Cora and the rest all faded into a blur as he felt the comfort of sleep overtake him. He could hear Sadie's breathing, akin to the slow tempo of song in the air, adding to the serenity of the place.

Before he lost consciousness, one thought managed to piece itself:

Was it possible to make these dreams, a reality?

Turn 1, Day 2, ???

As everyone wakes up again, they find themselves in the circle once more. The Cube has relocated to its center, and the Grim Chest has moved to the side.

Everyone rubbed the sand out of their eyes, as the memory of the recent nightmare faded slowly into the aether.

The four Uniqs flew together in the circle and presented the horror heart, drifting slowly in circles while talking to the heroes:

: "Everyone! We hope you had a pleasant sleep!"

: "OH YEAH!! Day 2 is happening guys!"

: "...We should... Get started, right? So just, get up. We have something important to say."

: "LISTEN UP ASSHATS!! Teehee!"

: "The Horror Hearts are very precious to this world! I don't know how, or why, but these are what makes this place tick! They are always used to create Flood bosses, who are a sort of "End of Day Challenge". The Horror Hearts are the result of these battles being won, and in turn they hide precious secrets! If by some chance we didn't beat the boss, the boss would lock down time, and the trials would end, together with all your lives. Don't worry, engaging the boss is what stops the timer, so you did the right thing. I remember some groups ran from it long enough for it to shut down time and... Well, we can still move and see, and the sight wasn't pretty. I have a feeling you guys know what you did when you Sacrificed Honor and Reasonability!"

: "YOU DID GOOD KIDS!!"

: "Though you did lose one, but that isn't your fault..."

: "We are so happy for you!"

: "Now, lets unlock the Horror Heart!"

The Horror Heart begins glowing as a large machine is formed from the light!

: "Ah, the first crafting machine, the Duplicator! This one can perfectly clone something, if you give it the right materials! It will ask of you the matters needed, then you just add it to the vent on the far right and presto, you got a double! It's really simple!... Oh?"

Yet another Sprite rise from the new machine!

: "Hello World!"

: "Hello again DoDo! How does it feel to be free again after !"#¤ years?"

: "It's double fine Cube!"

: "We already detailed what you did, since you have a habit of being forgetful."

: "No we don't!.. Okay yes we do. Hello everyone!"

After the light show, the Horror Heart was still here.

: "Looks like the power saved in the heart has been depleted, and now it can only serve its original function."

: "Yeah! Hey heroes, if one of you picks this up and bind it to you, you will unlock a Limit Break! It's a super powerful move, that has all sorts of conditions to being activated! I hope one of you is up to the task!"

: "Yes, we would love to see it!"

Still leaning against a tree, Nikolai smirked a bit. Limit Break, just like in the games.

He turned his head towards the Uniqs with an inquisitive look.
: "Well, Limit Break...sounds like game stuff. Anyway, what would be those conditions to active the Limit Break, and would it be adapted to the user?"

Ask the above.

"While I like resting in the wide open, awakening to the sight of creatures who want me dead is quite annoying... So I agree with the construction of a communal home, as for the power of the horror heart... while I would enjoy it, I don't think it would be fitting to give the first power to a bard, but rather a more fighter type... but one that doesn't already have enough power to facilitate their strengths... Hey, nikki... you're a human... why don't you take it?"
