Meanwhile, at the Conquest...






The heroes really lay it thick on the Shogun Slasher! Collectively they smash, cut and pierce their way to 18 damage!

The Shogun Slasher has been Crippled!

: "My... Leg. You br-broke, my exoskeleton... You broke... My Exoskeleton... YOU BROKE ME!! YOU BROOOKE ME!!"



The Shogun Slasher activates CRITICAL MODUS: DOUBLE TIME!



It unleashes a terrible mass of cuts towards REGIS, who takes 5 damage!



It then takes another turn and uses Wind Shear again!

Sadie has been fatally wounded, she is bleeding out.

Crippled:
When a character gets crippled, it cannot shift zone anymore. To heal it, use a normal way of healing health and the crippling will pass too.

Bleeding Out:
Hurry! One of the characters is bleeding out! This means that after 5 turns of not being healed by a healing spell or item, the person will die! After being healed from bleeding out, the character will automatically leave combat, due to excessive danger, unless the battle cannot be run from. The character will, no matter how powerful the healing spell/item, always only have 1 health left after being revived. After the character has been revived, the character will have the condition "Fragile".

Fragile:
Being thrown into Bleeding Out condition instantly kills you. This effect goes away with time.

Sadie landed somewhere a few feet away, sliding in the dirt.

Uh, for the record.

Blood pressure dropping. Lose of voluntary motor control. Vision skewed. Tingling sensation in my feet. Cardiac Arrest imminent, followed by brain death and systemic organ failure. Without aid, trauma I've sustained can only be deemed fatal in 99.6% probability.

And, It hurts so much. I think I'm dying.

Nikolai clenched his teeth as the team was severely damaged by the shogun's assault
: "Use logic now, don't be hasty."

Hammer to his ribcage.

What just happened? Queen turned back and forth between her teammates. REGIS damaged. Seuche bloodied. Sadie fatally wounded. Oh, no! If only she had her powers back, she could revive Sadie and cure the rest of them all at once!

She couldn't find words. Sadie might make it, but others would be harmed if this battle wasn't over soon. Who should she help out if she could only heal once?

R.E.G.I.S.

: "R.E.G.I.S.! We must be careful! Let others be our line of defense. If I heal you then you help Seuche. Cannot let her reach Sadie's condition. If we can win this fast, I can revive her!"

"And another one bites the dust, but she's still alive don't worry, she'll be fine so long as we finish this quickly, so focus on the battle! Hey, shogun, we're gonna get you too!"

Cora gets a song from a mythical time and place stuck within her mind, oh she also projects more beams of piercing light upon her foe.

“Blast. Nothing useful.” Bowser grumbled, just sticking the odd gizmo into his inventory. “But I don’t have time to waste. Gotta get back to the fight. And yeah, I think you’re short. You’re human, all humans are short. Least I think you’re human. Haven’t seen any with pointy ears like that.” Bowser just made for fight with the Shogun Slasher.

Aidan met the long strides of the king with his own quick tempo. He could hear the thumping of his boots on the grass being dimmed by the clash of battle nearby. He hoped everything was going right -- from what he gathered, the enemies now had a semblance of honor and sentience, so they must have feared getting overwhelmed, despite their knowledge, right?

Oh Gods no.

"Sadie!"

Run into the battle and PULL SADIE OUT!

If possible: Attempt to resuscitate.

If not: CHARGE INTO BATTLE!

"Sadie!"

Watching the elf moving towards them, Nik saw he had little choice.
: "No!" he shouted towards Aidan "If you come here you'll only be endangering both you and Sadie. Stay put and I promise we'll save her, but if you try to join the field of combat, you may also be taken down and make our task more difficult."

[Tiruin]

Aidan returned the gaze with his own -- Nik meant sense here, but in a matter of seconds, it would all be dependent on a blood-crazed shogun and an extremely large sword.

"I may be taken down, but then at least I will lie knowing I tried!"

I won't leave them again. Not again. Not unlike...them...

"Look to yourselves, stave his blade! I'll be fine!"

: "Both Queen and REGIS have a limited supply of mana" he answered with a serious face "Coming here means making it more difficult to save Sadie. What you are saying is that you prefer to be taken down knowing you tried instead of making it easier for us to save her...?"

Returning the notion with a straight face, Aidan pointed at the Shogun's sword. "Out of reach, out of mind. Focus on crippling a foe in anger lest his wrath devour us all."

: "Stubborn bastard, aren't you?" Nikolai asked with a smile. "Do what you want to do and hope for the best then."

REGIS nearly buckled under the repeated blows from the blade of his opponent. Receiving that much damage all at once, even through his armor, was a shock to his diagnostics. For a moment, REGIS's personality reverted back to his most basic robotic self. Though the others around him couldn't understand what he was saying, it sounded incredibly pained.

[WARNING! CRITICAL DAMAGE SUSTAINED! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!]

Even through the damage, Reggie was glad that he was the one targeted by the powerful attack. With Bowser gone, he was the only one who could have taken a hit like that and survived, and even he just barely survived the hit.

The entire team was suffering at this point. One member was down, and two others plus himself were heavily damaged. Even if he was destroyed himself, REGIS would not allow another member of the team to go so close to death. REGIS readied his life magick into his fist, and (healing) punched the pirate captain in the jaw with his sizable fist. For some reason, it was more satisfying than normal healing. Almost as if he had just punched someone that was insulting him. That was odd, since the blue pirate hadn't said much at all since the team met.
