"Well, that was unexpected, didn't seem like it did much though..." Cora's arrows piercing beams of light, shall blot out the sun sky!

Speak with Uniq, because yeah...

Aidan looked on at the battle, reminiscing his own times in the fray -- this was strange in a way that the shogun would usually attack everyone, but then forget to know how to defend himself.

"Uniq, if I won't be a bother, why can't we just flank the Shogun? The bridge seems wide enough and-...

. . .

"Can't they just cut the bridge? Does gravity work it's natural course here, and..."
He gazed off onto the horizons on either side. "Are these patches of land floating?

"Also, you said I could try to hone my potential somehow, right? Is it generally by conventional means, meaning hard work and training or is it possible to utilize our mana, if I have any, to try to experiment radically with it? Can we use mana through willpower alone, and shape it to what we are skilled in?

"Also, why is the land green in some parts, and a wasteland in others? I couldn't help but challenge the question. Does this place have any constant source of water, because it seems to be nothing but a wonderful floating archipelago. Without water surrounding it."

Reggie charged forward again, targeting low points on the shogun attempting to knock him off-balance.

"Good idea. Keep cycling the front line." Bowser said, as he shook off the blow from the wind slash. He was knocked back some, but he didn't feel hurt.

"Let's do this!" Bowser charged forward, seeking to ram into the Shogun Slasher. Like REGIS, he aimed low to help the golem topple the slasher.

'Oww... thank you, Queen.'

Seuche was now more wary - the Queen couldn't heal her forever, after all. She switched to her new blade and continued the battle more defensively.

: "Activating Frankly Mode...Done. Look, Aidan Faolán. Let me just gather my thoughts, so slow down a little... Okay. The bridge is, as far as we know, not even connected to anything. The Floods that happen stops what little flow of time there is. You might have noticed that you should have grown a little more hungry by now. The islands floating, the bridge from nowhere, the lack of water or a proper source for it, the only reason I have for that in my databanks is "Funny little details". That's it. I don't know who or what programmed me, I don't know where all this data comes from, I am simply a very advanced mainframe that can act with a personality since I have a personality core installed. Yes, you can work yourself to grow stronger with abilities through willpower and hard training. Start working how you believe your magic worked in your own world, and by luck, grit and tenacity, you will make the leap into Magick and be able to utilize your skills again. It's hard, its dangerous, but yes it is possible. As for the bow training, yes, you can also train that over time. Why would you be able not to?? That's one of the most basic things for many of the sentient races: Curiosity, and developement of skill. Sorry for taking the tone of the harsh truth, but there you go. Keep asking questions, its what I am here for."

Turn 20(3), Day 1, Flood

Everyone shifts forwards again, but Sadie hits the "wall" of another zone. She cannot advance into combat with the others. Together, they try to topple the giant Shogun, but to no effect. They give a collective of 18 damage to the dangerous foe. A spark seems to fly from one of it's many eyes.

: "Great going everyone! Keep it t-HHHRGGH!!"

: "..."

Bowser is in complete shock over the sudden attack, but he doesn't seem to be in any pain.

: "Fly like the birds of prey, Turtleman!"

FWOO!! There he goes, the orange man HAS the air.

Bowser has been tossed from the Conquest.

The wind carries bowser gently to the ground, making him take no damage. He is lucky he wasn't tossed over the edge.

Queen shifted to the MEDIUM ZONE and Boomerang Tossed her root at the Shogun once more!

"Blimey! Look at him fly! That actually looks a little fun! But now unfortunately isn't the time for games, how sad." Cora peppers the slasher.

"So about magic, say if I-"

: "Fly like the birds of prey, Turtleman!"

Aidan spun around to see what had happened, only to catch a blur of screaming orange as Bowser took to the skies in the fashion of a rock.

He looked at Uniq. "I suppose I can't carry you even with my arms empty of burden, can I?...

"Hold still. Bowser! King, are you alright?"

With that, he dashed in the direction of Bowser's inevitable fall to the ground to try to aid him, keeping watch for any places of interest on the way behind trees and bushes.

((How many tokens do we have, because I plan to take landscaping anytime soon...))

Nikolai watched as Bowser was flung faaaaar away. Well, the big turtle would surely take some time to recover and come back.
: "Well, bad luck. Keep up with the assault! Charge!"

Apply the hammer to the Shogun's right knee in a crushing motion, aiming to cripple.

After everyone just stared at Bowser flying off into the distance, there was a short pause.

"OKAYS, EVEN REGGIE HAS TO ADMITS, THATUN WAS A NICE SHOTS."

The pause couldn't last long, though, and the battle's pitch started once again. REGIS charged with Nikolai to attack, and hoped that the spiky turtle landed safely.

Sadie watched Bowser go flying off into the distance, doing some mental gymnastics.

"Don't worry everyone! He didn't nearly have enough velocity and arc of descent to fall off the edge...wait, did I carry the 1?" Sadie said to herself.

Action: Charge and Club!

…my voonerables…” Bowser mumbled, still disoriented and dizzy from the sudden flight. Fortunately for him, he landed right on the edge of the island, flipped on the back of his shell yet again. Blinking a couple times, he shook his head trying to clear out the cobwebs from it. He started rocking back and forth before flipping upright again.

Huh?... That was unexpected,” Bowser said, looking about. His eyes fell on Aidan approaching. He pointed a claw at him. “If anyone asks, there was forty of them. And they were big as gorillas. And they had sledgehammers. Mechanical sledgehammers with jet engines.

But nevermind, I gotta get back to the fight. If you want, there’s a chest over there. Maybe there’s something I can use in the fight.” Bowser said, checking the nearby chest before heading back to the fight.

Slash, slash, slash your sword. At the Shogun, preferably.

((As Fortis' action makes him head back to the fight and mine is going to help him, I'm guessing that there are no obstacles in my way as a warning then.  :P))

Aidan was glad to see the monarch unharmed and unscathed -- whatever damage, superficial or not, sustained from a fly that high was not seen on his body, not even a bruise.

Impressive.

"I don't think it's possible for you to return in the battle...seeing that kind of attack, I believe that goes along the term of "knock-out".

"We could be of more use if we travel together and search this place for useful material, like those chests which seem to conveniently exist in every flora-covered place.

. . .

"Also, do you think I'm short?"
