"Right, so you want to finish off this island? Not a bad idea. Once we clean out those annoying critters, it would make a good base of operations. So far, this bridge is the only way too or from this island. Worse case scenario, it'd make a good bottleneck if something attacks." Bowser said, looking over the bridge, and trying to see the source of the music. He shrugged after a moment, and just glanced over the island.

"Listen up, troops!" Bowser said, getting back into the commander's role. "We can't just run around like a stomped goomba. We need to do a proper sweep of this island, and flush those little black things out of hiding. I need three teams. Two of three and one of two, and we'll need a heavy hitter in each team. Oh, and REGIS, get with the healing punches. I want everyone in peak condition."

"Nikolai, Captain, Queen, you're team one. Head along the west side of the island. If that black thing attacks, stomp 'em. But don't be too aggressive. It'd be best to keep herding them south. REGIS, Sadie, Aidan, you're team two. You go along the east side of the island. Same orders, and REGIS, give Aidan your hammer. You're strong enough to not need it, and pointy ears needs something to help him pack more of a punch. Cora, you and I are team three. We'll go down the middle of the island. Everyone, keep an eye out for any of the monsters trying to slip between our groups. Once we herd the black things to the south end, we all attack at once and trap them in a three pronged attack. Once the island is secure, we can all go together and see what that music is. Any objections?"

"That sounds like a good plan.

But, uh-who will watch the bridge? More things could come over while we search..."

"Well, we could herd them to the bridge... and simply chase them off, or we just do the same maneuver in reverse ending back at the bridge..... Either way, I like the Kings idea here, much better than what I was going to do."

"I'm more worried they will do something harmful to the Bell." Sadie said.

She turned to the Bell again.

"Ding? Yahoo! Are you danger from the creatures of this world if we leave you alone?"

"Ahh, more royalty? Why don't we all just stake some claim so we can have a royal battle royal..."

: "That? Your greeting for me? 'Why don't the royals just fight'?" Queen knelt down to Cora's level. It didn't take much effort since they were both rather short. "Think you are funny, maybe? You are not. All we have is teamwork - especially for you, tiny sourpuss."

Queen stood back up.

: "Since the moment I noticed, you've a devil-may-care attitude about you. Let me clear up: we are dead. This is it. All we've got. If you won't help out, I have no qualms putting you back in the grey chest."

Upon hearing a request for his services, REGIS perked up considerably. He could feel a familiar power coursing through his shell, and it was comforting. Reggie felt the mana flow to his fist, swirling with the healing magicks that he was accustomed to.

"YOUSE NEEDUNS DA HEALUNS!?"

REGIS punched the elf square in the face with Healing Punch

"IT'S FEELS SO GOODUN TO DO'S THATS AGAINS."

"Oh-ho-ho! Someone's all high and smitey, listen here 'queen', I've been through this before, I've died twice now, neither times have been in pleasant ways. So excuse me to try and have a little fun in this afterlaugh where we fight for the right to live once more. I understand the importance of teamwork, I can't do much anything alone, so don't preach to me the importance of teamwork, when it looks like you need a lesson yourself."

Sadie seemed uncomfortable choosing a side.

Eventually, she settled on standing up, walking over and hugging both of them at the same time-as if they were a happy family!

"I have considered the merits of your arguments, and I think you are both right. Can't we all be like Sisters?" Sadie asked.

Sadie actually had a Sister. One far more accomplished (and taller) then she. She liked the idea having Sisters a little less accomplished (and shorter) than her.

Queen gritted her teeth, puffed up her chest and let out a comically large sigh.

: "...Alright. We'll get nowhere fighting anyway. No reason to bring my world's... unfortunate tendencies into this." She shrugged. "Regardless, I agree with Bowser. We can cover more ground in three teams."

Queen started off to the west, waiting for Nik and Seuche to follow her.

[Caellath]

: "I think I'll stay here with the Bell and wait for your sweep. If you do enter combat, I'll hear it and join you. Good luck, though."

Nik stands up and hides in the trees close to the Bell, waiting for the team to find something.
: "I'll be watching the bridge."

Soon after punching the elf, REGIS approached the squabbling group. Before Queen could move too far away, Reggie concentrated his healing power into both his hands once again, and punched both Queen and Cora on the tops of their heads.

"YOUSE GUYS SHOULDN'TS BE MAKEUNS WITH DA FIGHTUNS IN OURS OWN GROUPS. REGGIE MIGHTUNS BE ABLES TA HEALUN YOUSE WOUNDS FROM DA BATTLES, BUT REGGIE CAN'TS MAKEUN DA HEALS FOR DA SCARS CAUSED BY DA TALKUN."

After looking at both of the girls quietly for a moment, REGIS turned to Sadie.

"YOUSE WANTUNS DA HEALUNS, TOO?"

"Sadie, do you think these titles mean anything? I don't...look like a fossil, do I?"

"Also...Um...oh...hmm...Aidan, would you be depressed if I told you found your skeletal remains in the future? I mean, I was...will be very respectful to them...but I suppose it couldn't be you anyway.

I mean, he had a flute, and wings that might have been a fossilized cloak...you didn't get hurt by an arrow, did you?"

"Well I-...My remains...?"

A moment of silence was needed.

"Erm, I'm unsure if you did ever find mine. Those who die at sea, as far as I know, get left in the waters and a memorial is made on land for their sacrifice. I am undoubtly sure I died at sea..."

The gloom of the situation was partly brightened by his sudden smile after finishing the statement.

"I'm fine with it, it's better than having a lost grave. And yes, I did get hit by an arrow, stung a lot, right here in the middle arm. Death by bleeding or fall, I don't mind. As long as my death meant something."

Deep inside, he wished she did find his body...He wondered how he looked in the future as a skeleton.


After the King's Order and Queen and Cora's fighting

He stayed in place as Sadie went over to address the two's qualm. "Let's carry on with the King's orders, I don't want to see anyone fighting as an introduction. We barely know anything of this world, and perhaps we've reached a misunderstanding with milady there.

"Thanks Reggie, and Nik."

He turned to the cube-Uniq to ask it something. "Can we carry the Bell as well as your own holdings? Does the bell mind if we could do so? And is there any other way to help you recharge?

"Are you telepathic? I was with Sadie the whole time and I've never heard her mention anything about fossils at all."

“Hmm… Right. Sound the alarm if anything starts coming across.” Bowser said, as Nikolai stayed behind to watch the bell. He clamped down on his annoyance at being disobeyed, but he had to remind himself these weren’t really soldiers or minions. He’d be dealing with various independent minded people. But they were all he had at the moment. His plan was still workable with seven people, though the western group was a little weaker than he would have liked. “Everyone else, move out. And Aiden, the cube thingie needs to recharge. We can worry about logistics after we've got the island cleaned out.” Bowser said, heading down the middle of the island. He kept an eye out in case Queen and the captain needed aid.

"Ahh, action, finally, let's all follow the plan then, and Gills. Don't hug me again, it's nothing personal, I'm just not the touchy-feel kinda gal, plus you're stronger than that 13 foot hill-troll..." Cora stretches from the 'hug' from Kelly when Regis comes over and knocks her on the head.

"Well, I wouldn't say that was called for, but it's helpful none-the-less. Onwards!" Cora then follows the King according to plan

I go over to the Cube and take out a Paste and a Juice, then consume both. Very reluctantly.

Then team one is a go, head down the west side of the island as ordered.
