Aidan takes the Green plate, and every other plate that wasn't taken, if already not taken.  :P

"Also, I couldn't let a Silvus Dryadlum be hurt before I had a chance to experiment on him. Bwoohahaha."
"I'm glad my existence makes you very happy, Sadie." Aidan said with a smile and wink. Deep inside, he wondered what she meant by 'experiment'.

As Bowser announced his order, along with the heavy thumping of his feet in Nik's direction, Aidan turned to check on the situation, spotting...something bad happening at the cube.

"Suppose we should help them? Looks like they have it handled. You two up for more scouting?"

He felt hunger welling up in him, and a spark of thought.

"Sadie, how's about I try to show you how the Silvus Dryadlum treats minor injuries?"

Try to treat Sadie's wound through magic.

Search for anything I could use as a Bow//Arrow, or at least a spear; if not possible, then a potable water source.

Aidan also eats that paste he brought with him along with the plum juice he picked up.

Turn 8, Day 1, ???

As the creatures saw the two giants come barrelling towards them, even the large one seemed to walk away. With the big one gone, the smaller hurried off in quick leaps, snickering all through the movement. Bowser began nearing the Cube.

As the Captain reunited with the group, the imbibing of foodstuffs was well at hand. Both Aidan and Sadie felt fulfilled, Sadie was even as full as it came in the drinking department. Speaking of the foodstuffs, the fruit seemed sweet, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. It was deliciously moist, which could satisfy both your thirst and hunger. The nutrient paste was more or less "bleh!" To eat but was very nourishing. One felt sated after a helping of that. The Plum Juice was just that, juiced plum. The blunt sweetness could be sickening to some, but its ability to quench thirst (as advertised) was superb.

Aidan looked over the wound that Sadie had gotten. He tried his best to summon up his magical energies, but nothing came to him but a simple puft of energy. Their abilities and skills just did not work.

Something was a little amiss to the heroes, since the plates were much easier to carry than the fruit, paste and juice. Aidan also picked up the spare fruit that no one had touched.

As bowser stopped his charge, since the beasts had retreated, he edged over to the cube to deposit his fill of fruit, when he placed a hand on it and randomly hit the "Cube" tab on the visible status screen.

...This is pretty confusing.

Seuche coughed to get the group's attention.

Suggest the group take the road south-west

"For something made from the entrails of those armored creatures, this really tastes like plum juice. Delicious!"

Aidan munched happily with the combination of paste and juice in his mouth. Sure, it tasted like the worst kind of army bread rations, but at least the juice helped!

"I'd like to check on what's going off to the north of our position. Can't help but see what happens near the cube."he said ,in between mouthfuls and trying to swallow the paste. "I'll be fine, surely."

"And..Sadie, this is not how we heal others. Apologies if I couldn't treat this trivial wound. It seems magic works...differently here."

Snickering to no tomorrow, Nikolai followed the path of the escaping monsters with his eyes.
: "Cowardly idiots."

He then sighed and turned his attention to the cube, his stomach reminding him he hadn't eaten nor drank anything for quite some time.

Retrieve a fruit from the cube/Bowser and eat it. Then try finding a lone enemy nearby and finally charging it. If unable to fin one, then just idle nearby the cube.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Queen headed southwest along the road with Seuche and ate her Spirer fruit after seeing the others do the same.

"Yeah, you better run," Bowser said, as the creatures bothering Nikolai scampered off at the sight of him and REGIS charging. But still, the things did show at least an animalistic intelligence, in trying to isolate and ambush a lone member of their party. Next time, there could be a fight. But that'd be just as well, they got some interesting stuff from the last fight. Shrugging, Bowser just continued with his plan of depositing the fruit, letting Nikolai have one of them. He kept two of the fruits for himself, and began munching on them. He also attempted to pick up the cube, to see if it could be transported.

"And..Sadie, this is not how we heal others. Apologies if I couldn't treat this trivial wound. It seems magic works...differently here."

"It's all right, Aidan. I know you did your best!

I suppose I am a bit dissapointed. You know, in the world I come from, the Ley-Beam is still damaged, and we cannot practice magic naturally-we have to use advanced techno-magic machines to aid us, and those are prohibitively expensive and difficult to make. We do theorize the potential for magic is still there, but we do not have a stable source power to call upon.

Hmm. If that is true, and you could practice your magic, in theory, I could as well. Though it would be new to me...I suppose I could use a nice Elf like you to help me..."
She trailed off, grinning, and batting her eyes at Aidan charmingly.

She watched him start going Northwest away from the rest of the party.

"...Also, can you stay with the others? I am going back to the cube to ask about this strange plate, and..."

She seemed to gather up her courage to say something.

"...you are very short.

You are also very fragile, like most things I like, and Life itself, in a poetic sense. I find fragile things are very pretty, because...I do not keep anything strong with me for long, because I do not stay in one place enough to take care of them.

I do not enjoy...when the few things I like break. More so, when they are people. Especially so, when they are people I like. Particularly so, when I am not there to keep them from getting broken.

...So, don't be too reckless, okay? I do not want you to be broken. I would not...enjoy that."
She said, struggling for words. It was clear she was trying to articulate feelings that had no translation in her natural language.

...

She went back, then knocked on the Cube. By that time, she was back to her cheerful self-more or less.

"Hello Cube! Yahoo? Can you wake up?(Action: Ask)Explain to us what these strange Plates are!"

Action: Head back to the cube and question it about the plates.

OOC:@Dex: Minor annoyance! I should have that odd root I found, in my inventory.

Aidan spun on his heel to face Sadie with a wide grin, bypassing her mention of him being short - it was a compliment, actually.

"Don't worry about me, Sadie! Fragile though I be, I know my own two feet. If there is any foe I'd meet, they surely won't catch me!"

He noted the patterns in her voice and...was intrigued by how she said it. Yes, he was probably the weakest soldier in his entire army, but was it...that obvious? It was nice to have someone watch over your shoulder here, and it was particularly nicer to have someone care for your well-being.

Somehow, despite the lack of sun and all, Aidan felt like he had an angel watching over him as he moved to scout the unknown.

In his view, it was a very sunny day.

Sadie did manage to blush a bit, maybe embarrassed at something she had said.

"Uh, Well, so to say...what I mean...well, I would not confuse fragility with a lack of courage.

It would seem to the man, the more fragile one is, the braver you must be to face danger...I'm sure you follow my logic, Aidan?"

"I follow your...logic, Sadie. And, I'm not a brave man. Bravery only exists in the face of danger, and I am not in danger.

"Don't think that I would be fallen easily, I may have a low pain tolerance, but that won't break my spirit, believe you me."

How did she know that I was...that weak?

"Cheer up Sadie! I don't go down easy!"

Or...easy in the sense which lacks sharp arrows.

"Cheer up Sadie! I don't go down easy!"

"Mrmm, logic would dicatate you already went down easy...since you all but died in the other world the same as I did. If you had been stronger, or I, both of us we would not be here. Therefore, I must assume you and I have some vital emotional or physical weakness that resulted in our deaths, that we have been sent here to fix, in pursuit of our return. It is of utmost importance to me, to figure out my own weakness, and heal it. I think you are a part of that for me, Aidan, though the specifics elude me.

And, strangely, while my intellect demands I adjust my self, my feelings also grow strong for you in different ways. Illogical ways...I've never really had a friend who was a Land-Walker.

Um....I'm not doing this right...am I?

I'm sorry for that. And everything else.

Uh, Excuse me-I must be going! The Cube needs my attention."
Sadie chirped, and made a move to hop away.

"Vital weakness? When you put it that way, I guess..."

Did she mean weakness as in there was something we lacked before dying? Well, I do understand a death with duty unfulfilled, or...death by one shoddy arrow, but did she mean something else?

Aidan thought - in the span of seconds which Sadie was talking - about how she noted down the events of the War of the Shimmering Isles. His war.

Was it connected and did she have more information she was trying to tell him? Was it coincidence? Or was he just over-analyzing everything?

"Um....I'm not doing this right...am I?

I'm sorry for that. And everything else.

Uh, Excuse me-I must be going! The Cube needs my attention."
Sadie chirped, and made a move to hop away.

"Not doing this right? No, you're- hey, wait!"

The Elf could see his words falter as Sadie moved away, and guessed that there would be time later on to...rectify the matter. Or clarify it. Or to transparificate it. He moved away, equally in the same manner - with more of a hop in his step in the figurative sense.

Human words had soooo many meanings and spellings...

Is she in love with me?

Continue venturing NW, ahoy!

Seeing that Nikolai was safe, Regis felt slightly relieved. Even so, that larger beast was still out there, and was no doubt the ringleader for the smaller enemies. The golem accompanied Nikolai back to the cube to ensure his safety, but upon seeing that the others had returned, he got an idea. REGIS prodded Bowser's arm to get his attention, then motioned to the north where the large enemy had been spotted.

"OI, SPIKESUN, YOUSE THINKS MAYBE WE'S CAN GOS SMASH DAT BIG UGLYS ONE? IFFUN WE SMASH DA LEADER, DEY'LL LOSEUN DA EFFECTIVENESS OF STRATEGICAL THINKUNS. DAT MAKES OUR JOBS EASIER. MAYBE GRUNTS JUST RUNS AWAYS."

REGIS glanced at the rest of the people, then at the cube.

"IFFUNS WE'S DO GO'S, SOMESONE'S GOTTUN TA STAYS BEHINDS TA PROTECTS DA CUBES. DA CUBES TELLUNS REGGIE DAT DA BEASTIES WANTS TO WRECK DA CUBES BADLYS. IFFUN WE LEAVES IT ALONES, WE'S ALL DIES."
