: "REGIS, Cora, Bowser... best to assist Aidan and Sadie. Pardon while I take care of business."

Queen walked past the Destruction Form and grabbed the Hero Heart, Kaina's bandana and as many tones as she could carry.

"Sheesh... wouldn't want to tangle with that big red thing," Bowser said, as he saw the zombie Kaina get shredded. "Hope that's the release she wanted. Cube thingie, what the hell happened to her anyway? Who did that? Was it that Reaper character that we saw earlier?" His train of thought was interrupted as he heard Sadie calling for help. Looking over in her direction, he saw Aidan tangling with what looked like a giant scale trasher.

"What is with the giant creatures today? Hold on, I'm coming," Bowser said as he rushed for the combat, slamming the giant creature if he managed to reach it. He would also focus on guarding Aidan from harm if possible.

"Hoo, okay, you're safe now Cora, you're safe- ... well, safer..... Now, what's going on over there?" Cora rushes over to the neglected loot pile in front of the merchant slasher, eating one of the fruit and taking the other. If there's time she then enters the conquest with The King and Aiden.

: "KILL."

If there is still enough Destruction Form time, run towards Aidan and Sadie's conquest and spew forth a Blood Blast at the ranged enemies.

"Sheesh... wouldn't want to tangle with that big red thing," Bowser said, as he saw the zombie Kaina get shredded. "Hope that's the release she wanted."

"I'S CAN TELLS YOU RIGHT NOWS THAT IT WASN'T."

REGIS's voice sounded heavy, like he knew that he had just done something terrible.

"NOWS THAT NIKOLAISUN HADS HIS FUNS, I DON'TS THINKS SHE CAN EVER RESTS."

He fell silent after that, but focused on the matter at hand. The danger was not yet over. REGIS rushed alongside Bowser, entering combat against the giant trasher with a combined attack.

Turn 8, Day 2, ???




Queen was taking the spoils from the fallen Kaina, hey body was turning to dust before her eyes.

Cora picks up the tossed fruits and devours one for delicious delicious nourishment. As the others rush towards the giant trasher, the Destruction Form simply storms towards it.





Aidan and Kaina couldn't fire off a single bolt before the sinister giant had entered the battlefield, much to the surprise of everyone.



Everyone but the giant Trasher Skedaddles, the trasher being frozen with fear.



Ooooh... That has GOT to sting.



the Destruction Form collapses from the force of the Blood Blast and Nikolai drops out the bottom.



STATUS.



Oh hey another machine.





Seuche asked that Bowser put down the Cube so she could get out the Grim Chest, which he complied with.

"I feel... Tired, somehow. I think im going to take a rest...



FLOMP! Without a warning, Seuche tossed herself into the Grim Chest.

: "Oh. That happens from time to time. This world does things to you, and sometimes the daros version of your body needs a good long rest, to restable the damaged form in your homeworld. Think of it as a time out for the tired character. She might return someday, but for now, I got to do my duty."



The Chest rustles a little as the lid pops open, revealing a man in overalls and a hardhat!

"You can do that? Wow, what an odd thing to do when fighting for your life, simply jumping into bed and sleeping... Ooo, what's that?" Cora deposits the remaining fruit into the chest, then opening the mystery box!

Queen didn't even bother talking to anyone. It was time to figure out this duplicator once and for all. She rushed over to the Duplicator, placing two different combinations of items in its two slots in hopes to preview the results:

Headband + Hero Heart
Hero Heart + 1 Tone

If she could cover the cost in tones, she combined the first one of those she could buy.

: "I don't feel too nice."

: "...But I don't feel that bad either."

Get the loot. If after Queen does her stuff there are still enough tones for both Tenacity and paying the house, then get Tenacity.

Dell Conagher sppeared on his feet, swearing and starting into a run.

"Dagit nagit, nabit dagit! Boys we got-" Dell abruptly slowed down as he noticed the surroundings were most certainly not the tunnels of Turbine and he was most certainly not carrying his Widowmaker.

"A... spy. What in tarnation?  Quickly checking himself over, he noted with increasing alarm that we was not holding his Wrangler or his Jag, nor the Bombinomicon and goggles. He froze. Reaching upwards, he noticeably failed to come in contact with a large flaming tower of hats, instead touching his default hardhat.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Exhaling after a time, he opened them to survey his new environment and landed smack dab right on the biggest damn lizard he ever saw. Thing was almost as big as Heavy, even! Almost.

"I don't know what kind of reptile you are, big boy, but I ain't becoming dinner." he said, preparing himself for whatever came next.

Sadie shimmed down the tree quickly, trying to keep her modesty intact.

She spotted the newest member of their team when on the ground-and realized Seuche was gone in the same moment.

Her first thought was that he was some sort of soldier.

"Yahoo? Uh, do not worry, helmet clad stranger-Bowser will not eat you. We feed him well enough!" She said, looking down on him.

It took her a second, then she recognized the getup-yellow hat, overalls and glasses...and that smell! Dinner! She sniffed the air like a hungry feline. Then began talking rapidly like a hyper teenager, hopping up and down.

"You are a fisherman, correct? Where is your rod and reel? I say, I can smell the Fishcake on you! Where are you hiding them? Where?! Fishfishfish!"

[Dermonster]

Dell felt his mouth gape slightly as what seemed to be a very tall woman with green hair and almost entirely blue skin rushed into the scene and started shouting about fish.

He pinched his arm. This failed to work. He found his voice.

"Uh... mia'am? if you don't mind me askin', where am I, and wha-" Dell halted, remembering his manners. "Who are you?" Dell eyed 'Bowser' warily. "Also, could you call your giant iguana off? He doesn't look mighty pleased with me."

Sadie nodded, taking a big breath.

Then began speaking rapidly.

"It's a long story. First of all, you're dead and my name is Sadie Coldshoal. I'm a Biologist-and a Merwoman, if you didn't know! You like my hair? My sister tells me it's very pretty, but not as much as hers, grr. Oh, and Bowser is a Koopa, I don't think he really likes anyone-but he can breathe fire, so you'd better not make him mad! I don't think he eats humans, and you are in the odd world of Daros, a land of adventure and excitement, or perhaps merely an alternate dimension. But you're also not here, sort of alive and dead at the same time-that's odd, don't you think! And that is my friend Aidan over there, that cute little Sylvus Dryadalum. And Daros is some sort of test, to determine if you are worthy to live, or something like. So, I'm very hungry, do you have any fish?" She said.

[Burkhart]

As soon as Nikolai was on his feet from the destroyer melting away, REGIS was on top of him, lifting him in the air by his shirt. This kind of malice was never even hinted at before by the metal giant.

"IFFUN YOUSE EVER PUTS ANY OF USUN AT RISKS LIKEUN THAT AGAINS, REGGIE WILL HAVE NO QUALMS ABOUT SNAPPUN YOUSE NECK AND STUFFING YOUSE INTO THE GRIM CHEST."

His hand tightened.

"REGGIE WOULD DO ITS RIGHT NOWS IFFUN YOU HAD ACTUALLY HURTUN ONE OF US. THATUN WAS COMPLETELYS UNNECESSARY."

One tiny doubt was plaguing his mind. We could have saved her...

“… giant iguana? Really? Can’t you people see the shell? You do have turtles on your earth, don’t you?” Bowser grumbled, staring down at the human. “Oh, and no one calls me off. I’m not just Bowser, I’m KING Bowser, king of the koopas, and don’t forget it. I'll let it slide this time.” Annoyed at being called an iguana, Bowser just went over to the box that spawned in the middle of the ring of stones. He began trying to open it.
