Mages don't have to deal with divine convolutedness, though. Just arcane nonsense.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Eh, 3.5 and thereabouts casters in general just kinda' leave the poor meat shields in th'dust, from what I understand. Though the only major interaction I have with the ruleset is Incursion's (modded) system, in which that holds pretty true.

Magic in general has this issue. Its very /very/ easy to let magic do this.

Well, it looks liek it would probably destroy the mummies too. Have to say, I'm a little confused by the CL-10 effect, "Killed, Paralyzed, Blinded, Deafened" with no saving throw? Doesn't being dead kind of forgo being paralyzed, etc? Or would those effects only manifest if the target had some immunity to death-effects?

Remember that one of the keys to understanding dungeons and dragons is: Unless something says otherwise this applies.

Undead can be "killed", paralyzed, blinded, and deafened but they cannot through ordinary means mostly because they lack both the Will and Fort saves (some undead do have will saves but also have specific immunities and exactly ONE undead has a fort save as well). Spells and abilities usually have to specifically refer to the creature type to do it.

This often tends to make the game a bit convoluted because of the fact that few rules are immutable.

It does make it a bit convoluted yea, but also more open and dynamic. Part of the fun, is figuring out this stuff.

Not so much since it is kinda manditory.

If you are a Cleric and you are not taking advantage of the spells you are given then you are a poor cleric.

Now if you are finding out great uses for the spells you are given (Pathfinder + Create Water = Whoa this is so powerful I am surprised they didn't make it a level 1 spell) that arn't exactly part of the spell description is the fun part.

Hrmm, strange, its not working.
You need to use glow tags and shadow tags of the right color.
Also, the word you're looking for is Blasphemy.

You're forgetting that someone in this scene is an extraplanar creature.
Of course she could always make a will save with a -4 penalty to avoid banishment. It is pretty sweet to finally see Durkon laying down some badassery though. Last time we got to see him do that was with the whole 20 foot tall "and you think that would matter for movement speed" instance.
