It might be when you didn't vote to extend when you supposedly had a case on Boltur.

God dammit. He won't even vote one of us to save himself.

Look how Deathsword tries to help you into the noose, mate.

Frankly Hapah, I don't really expect to survive the night at this point, and I'd rather have him choose one of us. (and I sincerly hope he does). I do not believe he is scum, and it'd be a waste to see him die. If I could de-tie by voting Geen, I would. One thing occurred to me, however: why did Jim keep his vote on wsoxfan after he replaced borno? I guess that's something for tomorrow.

Damned ninjas. Post stays as it is.

00:00:31

The last numbers slowly began to to fade away and it finally sunk in how close the end was.  Immediately, everyone began to yell at one another.

"Deathsword!" Yelled one camp.

"wsoxfanHapah!" Yelled others.

...

00:00:05

...

"NO!"  Yelled Hapah and everyone turned around to look at him.  "I can't take it anymore, I can't see what happened to Deathsword yesterday happen to anyone else!  I've seen too many good people die for stupid reasons and if we don't choose anyone today, we might all be Erased!  Whoever's in charge of this d*** thing! ERASE ME!"

...

00:00:00

...

Everyone stared at Hapah in still terror as they awaited the inevitable.

Then the inevitable arrived.

Attention all Players, the votes currently
stand as follows

[Hapah] {3}: Deathsword, Geen, Hapah
[Deathsword] {1}: blackmagechill
[Boltur] {0}:
[Geen] {1}: wsoxfan
[blackmagechill] {0}:
[wsoxfan] {2}: Jim Groovester, boltur
[Jim Groovester] {0}:

Not voting {0}:
Replacement queue {0}:

Not voting {0}:
Replacement queue {0}:

A most unusual circumstance, but an
interesting one none the less. By both
his own choice and popularconsensus,
Hapah will be erased.

"Heh, so this is how it ends." Hapah said mournfully as he looked down at his rapidly fading hands.  "And I was so looking forward to getting to see my daughter again.  At least she's grown up enough to take care of herself now." He stood up straight and, facing the group, gave a sharp salute.  "Erase those son-of-a-b****** for me will ya?"

And then, without a single other sound, he was gone.

Hapah has been erased. Regrettably,
I must inform you that he was a Player.

Two Reapers still lurk among you.

You will all now lose consciousness for
24 hours,
during which time the Reapers
hiding among you will decide to Erase one
of you.

Everyone looked at one another, they knew what was about to happen.

Four people fell over.

Two remained standing.

They began to chuckle.

Hapah has been lynched, he was vanilla town
Quote
Player (VANILLA TOWN)

You are a Player in the Reapers Game, you gave up the one thing that is most precious to you to enter and obtain the ultimate prize waiting for you at the end.  However, fail and you will be Erased from existence completely.

You are TOWN. You win when the SCUM TEAM is eliminated.

The game has entered the night phase, no one may post during the night phase and the thread will be locked to ensure as such.

Please submit your actions for the night if you possess any via PM to me.

The night will end in 24 hours or when I receive all actions

Once again, you open your eyes, above you is a darkened sky, looking as if it will start to snow at any moment.  Off to one side is a large mural of graffiti, dominated by a large stylized image of a cat.

♫Brain wave main wave, psycho got a high kick♫

Off in the distance someone sings along to the music pumping out of the boom box on their shoulder.  Other than that the only sounds are the occasional skater grinding by taking no notice of the greatly diminished group.

You look around yourself to see who was the Reaper’s victim this morning.  A glance around reveals that wsoxfan is no longer among the group.
Everyone bows their heads in a moment of silence.

Which is interrupted by the now cruel sound of yours and others cell phones.

Mission:
The same as yesterday, only
now the stakes are higher two
Reapers lie amongst you
,
only now there are only three
of you.  It will take complete
cooperation to find and eliminate
the Reapers this day.

Determine who the Reapers
are and Erase them and
you win.

You have 72 hours until the
third "day" end.

The usual sharp pain comes, followed by the timer’s appearance.

72:00:00

Seventy-two hours.  That might be all the time that remains for you.

Five people stand nervously around in a circle, each realizes that this might very well be the last thing they ever do.

Two are prepared to make sure that it isn’t them.

wsoxfan was erased in the Night, he was a Player (Vanilla Town)!

Day 3 will end Wednesday 7:30 PM CDT

It's now lylo, which stands for lynch or lose. The town must lynch scum on this day or else they will lose. So it's do or die time, and it therefore means it's time to step up your games. Look over the thread at the remaining people and ask lots of questions.

Boltur, when I look over the game I think you come in last in terms of activity, and if not, then you're still pretty low when it comes to that. Why are you so quiet?

Meanwhile, you also admitted to some fault a few times. I don't care that you made a mistake, but why the repeat mention? It's almost like someone called you out on something legitimately scummy, but you're hoping admitting to the mistake will get people to ignore it.

blackmagechill, why didn't you respond to this post?

And since you do this a lot in a bunch of other games,

READ THE FUCKING THREAD AND ANSWER EVERY QUESTION DIRECTED AT YOU

Deathsword, restate your final case on Hapah for me, since I'm having a hard time figuring out what the hell either of you are getting at in the final portion of Day 2.

Geen:

You've got a point. Witty retort/evidence pending...

Where's your witty retort and evidence? You voted Hapah at the end of the day and never delivered on this. Oh, and you admitted I had a point that I had a point that you swapped your vote to Hapah in response to pressure. So tell me, how you are not scum, with an admission like that?

And then there was a whole mess of questions you just flat out ignored.

Answer people's fucking questions and make them legible, goddammit.

So some people took my advice that any lynch was better than a no lynch to its logical extreme. While a bit shocking, I suppose it's understandable that this happened.

To clarify, here is the order of preferable lynches:

1. Target of vote
2. Any lynch
3. No lynch
4. Self-lynch

It doesn't really matter if you're town or scum, you have no reason whatsoever to vote yourself in this game. You never want to willingly off yourself. Make that the job of the scum team or the people voting you.

So, scum killed one of the ICs in the first night and the newest player in the second. Nice going, scum. And by that I mean 'what the fuck were you thinking'.

@Jim: I swore I answered that one. I was asking you about Scumhunting because I wanted to see if there were any good examples to follow.

Oh, and to clarify on my last post where I accused deathsword about extend hypocrisy was a screw up on my part (#295, for those who care). I'm still wondering why a nolynch seemed like a good idea at all, and a bit concerned about not wanting to extend.

Geen: Start answering people's questions (preferably starting with mine) so that we can get something on you as far as a read and anything but scum too dumb to answer questions.
