Are these like dreams while you are "awake"? Meaning whatever the thing that watches you is, you can go "Hi" and it will respond?

Or is it just you shut down and your mind making imaginary things do erotic things.
If you know you're dreaming you *could* consciously change what goes on in it. One of the benefits of deliberately inducing sleep paralysis is that you know that whatever happens to be staring at you is a dream. Lacking beliefs in super natural boogeymen helps too.
(Although it'll still be freaky).

When i have sleep paralysis or lucid dream its weird, i am either killed/about to be killed (though i am just observing my own death) or really sad depressing stuff is happening, or i am witness of world downfall. I cant even control whats happening. I find it interesting though because most of time it looks really real. Fun stuff.

Goats will ignore your grass and eat the neighbours' roses. They're just evil bastards like that.
Probably thats why they are used with pentagrams on covers of Satanic Black Metal albums.

that's not what lucid dreaming is. lucid dreaming is when you know you are in a dream, and because of that you can control what you dream of

Neither of these really implies the other, though. I've been in dreams where I know I'm dreaming, but still don't have the presence of mind to control it much, if at all. During sleep paralysis, I generally know that it's happening and am more-or-less conscious, but don't have control over it then either beyond trying to force myself awake and usually failing.
