a while ago I had been working on a game with zombies, and I realized that with some work, these could be used in the game, if you like.
Well if it's an actual board game I don't think I could use those. However, I did have the idea of running this as a forum game, so I will use them for that if I ever get around to it and get all the rules sorted. Thanks for posting anyway!
Well first, based on the idea of zombies getting a buff, imo both zombies and survivors should get buffs as the game progresses. Survivors can 'create' items, while zombies can 'mutate.'
I don't want the survivors to get extra buffs as the game goes on; I want the game to get much harder for them as things progress. Their only boosts as of now will be the items they find. I might add a skill system somehow though. As for you intensive crafting system, I like the idea but it's a bit too complicated for this sort of game. I might add a crafting system that's much more simplistic though. The zombie ladder thing shouldn't be possible. I might have written it incorrectly in the rules, but the zombie's horde movement boost only is granted at the start of its turn, so moving next to another zombie doesn't give you a speed boost. I do like the zombie mutations though and I will implement stuff like super human strength to rip through walls and barricades, projectile vomiting which carries the virus, and the ability to move quickly.
Nono, I typed part of that wrong, I meant both zombies and survivors should get stronger as the game progresses, something for survivors to look forward to, and something to balance zombies out. I didn't mean survivors should get buffs.
