It's natural news, the hell did you think you would get from them? It's as bad as world nut daily or prisonplanet. Places like that make Fox News look like the BBC.

Anyone know exactly what the grenades he threw were? I'm hearing both tear gas or smoke bombs. Smoke bombs sound more likely, and would be easier to obtain, not enough witnesses are complaining of adverse eye effects.

Is that guy actually arguing that it's a bad thing for governments to have a monopoly on WMD's? Or that it's a bad thing that private companies does not have a mandate to use deadly force? It reminds me of the posters from Fallout, where employees are reminded to wear their "badges" (ID cards) since it could "save their lives", indicating that they might get shot by security if they show up at work without ID...

Does he want a world like that?

The problem is that we are assuming he had a plan. Having plan is not the same as being prepared for whatever you may think up once you pass go and Holmes seems to have been prepared to fight an actual batman.

He claims he's the Joker. The Joker doesn't have a plan.

You know, I was letting my creative side go, and I had a thought for what the police could do to pass the time before his trial-handcuff both his wrists and ankles together, and drop him off in the Aurora town square when there's the highest amount of people there, then come back in 20 minutes and pick up what's left of him. It'd save the state quite a bit of money.

Lets hope his family members don't sue the state on his behalf... or a third party.

In other news, I'm forcibly reminded how poorly humor gets transmitted through the internet-particually on a topic like this. But more seriously, this guy wanted to be taken alive. Why, I don't know. But why would he get all of the armor and then just surrender? Even assuming he's insane, something's off here.
