well the title says it all, i got a nickle spear from one of my smiths but i have iron and goblinite up the arse and even getting some steel weapons up, i've looked through the raws but don't know how much significance of the shear fracter and all that bettween nickle and iron is and i just want to know if the x3 bonus to hit is worth it

Sounds like a lovely centrepiece for your dining room, or for anywhere else high traffic that can use a little art.

If your military is prone to morale problems, an artifact spear standing proudly in the barracks should make a fine source of good cheer and dick jokes.

it's a written message, plain text, no emoticons, or other giveaways, a very common advice when dealing with useless artifact creators, how hard can it be to detect sarcasm (ok, so the 'kill the creator' is never serious, still)...
