Just started again. I've got a full shop up, so that should be an asset, assuming I don't bankrupt myself. Name is Seriyu_1, toss an invite at me.

EDIT: Hint: Everyone loves alert/suple dust. You should always try suggesting, there's no reason not to, to my knowledge. Suggest something in the same class that they're asking for, and failing that, something in their little item class icons below their mugshot. Failing THAT, suggest a consumable like dust.

EDIT2: Double Hint: If you're losing money, the last thing you want to do is level up your workers. Their wages will increase, which is what will really kill you in the long run. The levels are fairly minor benefit to boot, although they do help creation speed which can help a lot sometimes. Not worth bankrupting yourself over obviously.

This is something I remember when playing. Generally speaking, you have a pretty good chance  of suggesting a consumable item to anyone. If you're just starting out, a Sorceress makes for a good initial hire.

You should all be invited now. That puts us at our current limit of 4 until we can get some Guild License Points to upgrade. Reminds me of FFXII. I can still add more members but our score in guild challenges will be..decreased or averaged or something to make it like we have 4 people. Or something like that.

I got mine at level 6 and after I moved to the City Gates (using the map on the wall). I don't recommend either now that I've lost once though..the Thug does NOTHING but get stats on players until you are level 15, and moving to the City before you hit the level limit in the Countryside is just a waste of money, since they make you charge rent.

Alrighty, played all my days up for this morning, and got a questline started. This should be fun. (Never refuse the people that ask for heaps of money, tell them to come back. Wiki says you can miss entire quests if you refuse, with no chance to get them back) Trying to save up money for a workshop, it's a pain though.

Picked this back up, should be in as Bluerobin427 but it's through Kongregate and I'm not sure how to check if that's my in-game name too. Could I get a guild invite?

You need a guild...  as in other guildmates willing to build your upgrade for you with the coop points of their slavesemployees...

Oh bankrupcy is game over. So far for making a daring investment and paying the subsequent debts later.  ::)
Don't think I'll try again, I want the upgrades I pay for damn it.  >:(

Well we have a B12 guild, just post your name and quinnr should send out an invite at some point.

I will get it once I'm on a computer with Flash...which shouldn't be too long. Later today. You can see your name at the top right of chat when you open it.

This is where a guild is most useful. Under all your workers is an option to 'improve' guildmates projects with points that build up over time using a worker. You can't do it to yourself though, so a guild is necessary to build things. (or temporarily joining a guild to trade points with someone)

EDIT:
Bluerobin and Jelle (if your name is same as forum) should be added.
I need 1500 tailor points for a rug if anyone has em!

Awesome, thanks! I've got a tailor with 1000 points built up, so I'll send her over.

Starting to get into this. Which craftsperson should I start with, or does it not matter?

I've got blacksmith and tailor. The blacksmith stuff sells well, but it takes a while for him to make, so I never have much stock. The tailor stuff sells for cheaper, but it doesn't take as long to make, so she can build up some stock and then put time into researching new things to make. I hear the sorceress stuff is good to have around because if you suggest it to people instead of what they're asking for it works relatively often. The carpenter seems to be the hardest to start with (I think their stuff takes a little while to make and maybe isn't sold as often? I don't really know), but their points are apparently useful for helping other people build new furniture, so they're pretty desirable.
