Bookthras Human Heroic Guard Protect ToonyMan Blocked
After fixing up the office you’ve claimed as your temporary home a bit, you start gathering up the stuff you’ll to go guard ToonyMan.
You feel a chill come over you, and you stop to look around. A tightness starts to surround you, constricting your arms and legs. You struggle, trying to get away, but whatever is doing this follows you.
You stagger against wall, the tightness growing stronger. You start to feel light headed, and slump against the wall. The last thing you remember is sliding down to the floor.
You wake up the next morning with a pounding headache and a stiff neck from sleeping so awkwardly. But other than that you seem to be ok.

Dustylou2 Human Heroic Guard Protect Jim Groovester Protects, Dies
After fixing up the office you’ve claimed as your temporary home a bit, you start gathering up the stuff you’ll to go guard Jim.
Pistol in hand you head off to the part of the building you know he’s staying in.
As you get close you see another figure ahead of you. The hallways are pretty dark, since the emergency power doesn’t power all of the lights. But...something seems off.
The figure turns a bit near jim’s door and you can see smooth head, the clawed hands. Cursing you open fire with your pistol, shouting at it to leave.
The monster staggers back as one of your shots hits it. With a snarl, though, it quickly turns on you. With inhuman speed it rushes down the hallway, dodging every bullet.
As it gets close you hear the click of the gun. No ammo! No time to reload.
Run!
You turn just in time for it to slam into your back. Sharp pains erupt over your body.
Death is swift, at least.--
Hapah Human Telepath Investigate Jim Survive
You settle down in the office you’ve commandeered for yourself. Might as well be a little comfortable while you’re stuck here. This one even has a couch to sleep on!
And some tasty candies in dish. Always plus.
But before you sleep, you need to exercise your talents a bit. You descend into a trance and slowly let your mind free of your body. You let it drift up to the space of thoughts, where the world is dark except for the shimmering lights of your coworker’s minds.
You fly through the darkness, skimming by the lights until you come across Jim’s. Dipping down you feel the timbre of his thoughts. The surface echoes and reflections of what he is thinking. Much is unclear, as always, but you get strong desire to
Survive from him.
You return to your body, tired but content. You have learned something. Hopefully it will help you tomorrow.

Jim Groovester Alien Survivor Protected
You sit in the room you’ve claimed, looking at the door.
Will they attack?
Will the Deadman bomb work? You finger it, nervously. You don’t really want to die, of course, but if they try to take you down at least you can take one down with you.
The evening drags on. You grow weary.
You’re shocked back to alertness by the sound of your door handle rattling.
Your pulse begins to race. You can feel the chemicals of fear rush into your veins.
Then gunfire, and shouting! The door handle stops rattling. Footsteps pound on the floor outside.
Close! Very very close! The gunshots are rapid. Then a scream, and a thud. Then silence.
Nothing else happens near you that night. But you do not sleep well.

Shakerag Human Townsperson/Anti-Tech Field Dies
You awaken to the door of your office being opened. Your instincts kick in and you roll to the floor, crouching as you try to see what is going on.
A figure in the doorway.
A flash of light.
Pain. So...much...pain...
Another flash of light.
Darkness.--
Toaster Alien Exterminator/Mind Shield Exterminate Shakerag Kills
You easily find Shakerag’s room. A nice cosy office, well away from where everyone else is. With the doppelgangers around you can’t trust anyway, so it’s a sensible idea.
Makes your job easier, though.
You carefully pick the simple lock and open the door. He immediately rolls onto the floor off the couch he’s sleeping on and gets into a defensive crouch as he tries to figure out who and what you are.
Good instincts. You blast him with your plasma pistol. He gasps and collapses to the ground.
Good...but not Good enough. You shoot him in the head for good measure and quickly slip out of the room.
Nice and easy. Just the way you like it.

ToonyMan Doppelganger Tough Doppelganger Kill Jim Groovester Protected
You head out into the silent hallways of the building. You can sense you prey, somewhere ahead on this floor. The bloodlust begins to fill you, and you grin in anticipation of the warm blood you’ll soon be feasting on.
You creep near the door to the room he’s claimed, and jiggle the handle. Locked, of course. Not that busting it down will be a problem.
Before you have a chance to, though, you hear a shout from down the corridor. You turn just as a figure fires off a pistol at you. The bullet slams into your shoulder. Painful, but more enraging than anything else.
You bolt down the hallway at him, using your inhuman speed to dodge the rest of his shots. You can hear the gun click as he tries to fire more shots off from an empty clip. Moments before you reach him he drops the gun and turns to run. Too slow, though. You slam into him, knocking him to the floor as your claws rip into him.
The rage and bloodlust mean you do a
bit more damage to him then you’d planned. No matter, you scoop up the body and head off to the others. You need to heal, and fresh meat will help with that.
Jim will just have to wait his turn to die.

Urist Imiknorris Human Telepath Investigate Toaster Blocked by MS
You’ve taken over a small break room to use as your temporary home. There is a couch here, coffee pot, and a vending machine. Not bad. Not as good as home, but not bad.
But before you sleep, you need to exercise your talents a bit. You descend into a trance and slowly let your mind free of your body. You let it drift up to the space of thoughts, where the world is dark except for the shimmering lights of your coworker’s minds.
You seek out Toasters thoughts. Odd, though, they seem dimmer than the others. Curious, you try to dip down to see what is going on, but you just sort of bounce off. You try again, with no success.
Disappointing, but it seems you won’t be able to get past his mental defenses. You return to your body, tired and frustrated. Maybe tomorrow night you’ll have better luck.

blackmagechill Doppelganger Psychic Warden Block Bookthras Blocks
You sit down at the desk in the office you’ve commandeered to be your room. You pull out a candle and a length of chain, setting the candle alight and wrapping the chain around a finger.
In a low voice you start to chant the words of the Ritual of Subdual. As the chant drones on your mind begins to slip free of your body. The realm of thoughts surrounds you, a darkness punctuated only by the lights of the people in the building.
Seeking through those thoughts you find those of Bookthras. There you cast out the spiritual form of the Chain, wrapping it tightly around him. He struggles, but all that does is wrap the chain even tighter. You can feel the energy leave from him, and soon his sparks grows dim.
You return to your body, confident that he won’t be doing anything this night.
