Dar: See the bottom of the post for reasons for voting UI. Also, I think they're both scum, but hoping that one is the ext and another a dopp is probably overly optimistic. Do you think one, both, or neither of them are scum?
Tir:So why would you shift to BMC other than your target? And...doesn't enchanting work at night?
Enchanters just get an extra vote. Jim had to explain it to me in reply 89, actually. I put that bit below.
The extra vote is hidden, and it can be turned on and off with a PM to Meph.
I.E., if the vote looks something like this,
JanusTwoface: Hapah, ToonyMan, Pandarsenic
webadict: webadict, forsaken1111, Jim Groovester, NUKE9.13
At the end of the day, it would be a no lynch, but as far as everybody else knew up to that point, WUBA DUBA would've been strung up.
So another vote on BMC gives him 4 votes and the next closest 2, so even if there is an enchanter in the audience he couldn't change how things would happen.
As for why I voted UI: For stating that lynching dopps is a secondary concern to lynching the ext (because it could potentially put the town in a no-win situation), he sure isn't pushing a case. He spent the time to put together some scenarios of how the game could turn out (disregarding non-kill actions). He spent the time to lay out all of his suspicions, pinning Toony as his primary Ext suspect. But there's no
pressure. It feels like he figured out how a townie should act/be afraid of, made the post, and then forgot he had to actually act the part. I mean, he said that an Ext lynch is critical, laid out Toony as a suspect,
and then nothing. No real attacks on Toony, no attempts to get people to lynch Toony, no explaining his case, nothing.
Taken with the fact that he makes what looks like (to me at least) a rather panicked post once he realizes the error, he pukes up a vote on BMC in less than five minutes, for a D1 vote. We're this far into D2, and he's going to
try to get BMC lynched because of a randomvote D1? Really?
