« on: July 16, 2012, 12:35:22 am »

As the Title says: What is the most efficient Adventurer Profile? (Peasant, Hero, Demigod stats)

Also which weapon is the best (damage and range wise)

And lastly, what kind of companions should I take? (Which ones are the best to get.)

Throwing is the best weapon, regardless of what anyone say or experiences.

People haven't experienced throwing until they launch and decapitate someone with their own liquid blood.

Or a fistful of sand.
Basically, throwing turns every item capable of being interacted with into a railgun-fired sabot round.

I remember when I modded in chakrams. Sliced a night hag in half before it could even get close.

There was a guy that threw a coffin filled with his kills at things.

The mass could appearently make almost anything "explode in a cloud of gore".
Funny shit.

For serious:
1:Demigod
2:Sword
3:Doesn't matter, as they're generally just meatshields. I recommend swordities and macamen.

For cereal:
1:Put all points into thrower
2:Aquire quantum backpack
3:Kill lotsa things
4:Aquire necromancy
5:Throw backpack filled with dead things at enemy
6:Reanimate all corpses in backpack
7:Fun

As the Title says: What is the most efficient Adventurer Profile? (Peasant, Hero, Demigod stats)

Also which weapon is the best (damage and range wise)

And lastly, what kind of companions should I take? (Which ones are the best to get.)

1.) Demigod get more stats to distribute then Peasant or Hero, and get higher stats in the long run; a Demigod will always be the best character in comparison to a Hero or Peasant if all things are equal.

2.) All Weapons have their own niche of uses. Check what I said in my post on page 5 HERE to get some ideas on each Weapon. Note as well, you can crosstrain weapons, so there is nothing stopping you from training a little in one weapon as well as another if you really want.

3.) Pick Companions again based on their niche uses and what you plan to do with them. Don't take a Pikeman into a Dragon fight for example (no Shield = no Dragon-fire Blocking). Anyhow, some general ideas: a) Pick companions with similar weapons as you if you want their weapon (like that sweet Silver Warhammer perhaps). b) Pick companions with weapons that will compliment you (you slash with your Axe to dismember unarmored limbs while the Spearman punctures the Helmet with a stab. c) Realize that Archers can run out of ammo eventually so don't put all your eggs in that basket.

Pick Companions with armor as it makes them better at the job of being a meatshields, and you get to keep there armor when thay die.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Wrestling and biting.

Strangle them and then bite off all their toes / fingers. Maybe the tongue if you're in to that sort of thing.

:)
