"Do we have to go?" grumbles Mica while following Eri. "They're just tiger poachers. Though they might have guns, which are good."

Eri looked at her companion, "Poachers mean a bad deal. If we reach any village, then the people would obviously get suspicious of foreigners on their land for an 'aircraft' incident.

"Now, it may just be my prejudices, but generally, the law enforcement is corrupt, like the politicians around these areas...

"And, we can glean more from poachers than from seeking refuge with only a token chance at being rescued."

She looked at Travis. "Say, what did you do in that place anyway? Any other tips aside from the map?"

[Terenos]

Travis shrugged as they walked along, enjoying the feel of his new jacket. He decided to outright dodge Eri's first question.

"Nothing at all. The map's more than helpful enough though.
As far as the poachers... if they've got transport, lets just steal it. And maybe try to avoid a firefight since we're probably outgunned. But hey, if it comes down to it, let me talk us out of it. It'll totally work. Trust me."

[Zako]

Ashley looked at Travis and rolled her eyes.

"What, your going to seduce them to submission? Anyway, they won't talk. They don't want any witnesses after all. But they probably do have some kind of transport we could use. They have to haul back all those parts somehow after all."

[Terenos]

"Hey I don't know how these Malaysian poachers roll. They could be into it. Only one way to find out!"

[Zako]

"Don't try it. You saw the tiger back there, so judging from that I think that they aren't sociable."

[mainiac]

"I have a trick for dealing with people like these poachers."  Abby speaks up, a voice that is a bit unfamiliar as the others haven't heard her much lately  The jungle didn't suit her well and it sure didn't suit her outfit which was muddy and even starting to look slightly tattered.  "It's called money.  You folks have any cash on you?  It's not like there's an convenience stores nearby."  Abby pulls out her wallet and thumbs through it to see how much cash she has on her person.
"Even a few hundred bucks between the whole of us could buy a lot of friendship.  And if it's not enough well... then we throw the cash up in the air to make a distraction and run away."

[King_of_the_weasels]

"Yes. Let's tell them we have money, then they DEFINITELY won't kill us."

[mainiac]

"Um yes, actually.  When they know that we have money that means we hold the promise of more money.  It's all a matter of presentation.  By paying them we dictate the terms of the arrangement and that means they will see us as powerful and more likely to be seen as people to obey then victims to attack.  But hey, that's just one theory, feel free to do what you want."

[Tiruin]

"Err, money?"

Oh great.

"No...they won't just be like mice to money. Not a good idea. If they see foreigners in our condition, I'm not sure, and probably skeptic, but I don't think they'll be nice.

"They're armed. Add that to our state..."

"Think we can buy their guns off them?" Mica shrugged and continued.

"I'd like some firearms. Hey, I've got an idea. Some of you go and distract them while some others sneak into their den and stab them in the back. Nothing can go wrong there." Her tone is so innocent that it must be sarcasm.

[mainiac]

Abby lets Eri speak her mind then answers calmly.  "Hey, I'm not going to argue with you."

And then she proceeds to not argue.

[Zako]

"There's no point about arguing about it now, we'll have to see how well off they are before we do something. Let's just move."

[adwarf]

"I have a better plan, I am going to kill them and take everything they have. Now keep quiet before we get caught." Renard said to the others before turning back to following the trail.

[King_of_the_weasels]

I am surrounded by idiots.

Keep far away from anyone who's going to actually going to go after poachers unarmed.

[Zako]

Ashley raised an eyebrow at Renard.

"Riiight... Your going to go straight up to a group of bloodthirsty poachers that are armed with guns, knifes and god knows what else, without a weapon of any kind, and do so all by yourself?"

She paused to let her statement sink in as she brushed a branch out of the way.

"That's suicide. Lets just scope out their camp first and come up with a plan, then we can do something."
