I live in Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia.
I've been as far south as North Carolina, but that was only to visit an ailing relative.
I've gone down to Delaware/Maryland pretty much every summer my entire life up until the past few years.
I go into New York every now and then.
I practically live part time in New Jersey.
I've been to Canada twice, Niagara and Montreal.
I live a boring life.

My dad on the other hand, has been to Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, India, the UK, and every U.S. state except Washington and Alaska. Before I was born mostly.  :'(

I've been to 4 of 6 states in Australia! :P (Not counting ACT 'cause COME ON.)
Other countries I've been to are Thailand, (I was incredibly sick and hardly remember it) New Zealand, and (quite possibly my favourite place) Bali. Specifically Ubud in Bali. I could live there, I reckon. :)

I feel your pain. My dad went all over the world doing all sorts of exciting, possibly dangerous stuff before I was born, and now he's content to sit around in rural NSW and be boring. Bah.

Growing up my family were fans of the English countryside / beaches so we rarely went abroad. So much of the world still left to see.

Yoink: You're in luck, the Australian Capital Territory is, funnily enough, a territory, not a state.

I've never been outside of Australia, but if you count in utero, I've been to every Australian state; if you don't count in utero, leave out Tasmania - it barely counts anyway.

I've still got to visit some place in North and South America, then I'll have visited some place on every continent. Except maybe Antarctica, but screw Antarctica.

Really, the only place that I've been of note is Foxe Channel in Nunavut, CN. I spent about three months volunteering on a boat up there.

I've been north to New York City, south to Orlando, west to Albuquerque, and east to Hatteras. I live a boring life.

I've been to several European countries, including UK, Spain, Italy, Norway and Russia, and as for the more far-away lands from my point of view, I've visited Brazil and the USA.

Farthest west I've ever been is Elgin, IL, north is (obviously, as there's not much north of it) Nunavut, south is Nahsville,TN, and east is Albany, NY. Someday, I hope to visit my sister in Scotland, and travel through most of the rest of Europe being an annoying american tourist.

I live in a small town in Illinois, so I don't really go anywhere often; But the farthest I've ever been from there was Pennsylvania and California.

Stupid grade Six teacher. ::)
Also, according to Wikipedia, NT doesn't count as a state, either. Weird.
