My adventuer Catten Rocklobster is one of the greatest Vampire slayers in the capitol, his skill with his axe and sheild is the only thing ceeping him alive because all he wears is leather armore which is better than none but he has a steel brestplate he wont wear!!
What am I doing wrong?
(he has adaquit armore user and a dwarf with a dwarf sized brestplate.)

Remove ALL your equipment on your Upper Body, Leather Armor, Dress, Coat, Backpack - EVERYTHING.

Then try equipping it.

Some items have a "Shaped" tag, you can only wear one item with that tag on each bodypart.
Also, each item takes up space on your body. If you can't fit on one you want take everything off there and put the most important stuff on first.
