Tunneling up?
« on: July 13, 2012, 04:26:28 pm »

Is there any way I can dig upwards? I want to open up a body of water I have directly above my dining room so it all spills down and makes a pretty waterfall.

(build) a (C)onstructed (u)p stair in the dining room and you will be able to (d)esignate a (j)down stair in the bottom of the water source that a dwarf will be able to dig up into.

This seems like it is going to let most of the water in all at once though... do post results.

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.
