Travis Steele: Charismatic Adventurer.

Travis Steele was born to a very poor family in rural Canada. From a very young age he showed a remarkable interest in vehicles of all sorts. As he grew into a charismatic youth, his disarming smile and trustworthy face managed to secure him the keys to many vehicles for 'errands'. Travis was the teen about town to see to get from point A to point B. However when he wasn't helping his many friends with rides, he was out performing ridiculous stunts for the thrill.
Unfortunately, time went on and his repeated run ins with the law for stunting gradually caused the locals to stop being so trusting. So Travis was forced to resort to petty crime to borrow the vehicles he needed. Travis quickly fell in with a gang responsible for grand theft auto across half of Canada. It was never really about the stealing for Travis just the driving, and this gave him access to some incredibly fast cars and got him out into the world.
Travis never lost his boyhood charisma, funneling his natural charm into the pursuit of only the most attractive and eligible ladies. This had led to several incidents as he foolishly 'borrowed' many a powerful mans car, and wife. Although Travis has survived the revenge of each man and woman he has crossed so far, it is only a matter of time. Travis never really apologizes or makes things right, he just lays low, and hopes that everyone involved forgets him.
And that is how we arrive here in the story. Deciding that he needed to lay low once more, Travis joined the exciting world of Treasure Hunting. Some might say this isnt really 'laying low' but that's crazy talk. Now, Travis is left with only his stylish windbreaker, and steam-punk costume goggles as possessions of note as he joins these Hunters of Fortune.
Travis has remained somewhat distant from his friends, given thats a huge part of laying low. But he remains in steady contact with his childhood friend Jessie, who has often remained the (widely ignored) voice of reason in Travis' life.
