Several people have tried daily art request threads, but few people have the time, energy, and inclination to draw a random request each day at their full potential, especially if they need to research it. My proposed solution is to have the Bay 12 community suggest and vote on one topic to focus on per week. Seeing how other people draw the same topic should be fun, and will hopefully be insightful for less experienced artists.

Naturally, there is no obligation to use the chosen topic, and anybody may post a work on any suggestion or combinations of suggestions they find inspiring. Any artistic medium is welcome. Less skilled artists are just as welcome as professionals.

Anyone may suggest or vote, even if they don't otherwise contribute.

If a topic is close to first place, vote wise, I'll add it to the next week's poll. I'll post the results of the first poll on Monday.
