I'm not sure but I would think that it belongs to some civilization and that it will not attack your fort but if it has any ability that does damage around it might be dangerous.

Has poisonous bite, so it won't directly harm as a way of just walking around but, it conducted a meeting, which offered nothing other than a "hello, nice place you've got here" conversation. I dont know... weird shit.

Sometimes clowns impersonate dieties in world gen and take over random civs, becoming leaders or other various positions of power. It's a normal diplomat for all intents and purposes, it just happens to be a clown. Just a little quirk, kind of neat actually. He's STILL a clown, though, so attack him at your own risk. Otherwise, I'd just let him be.

On the bright side, atleast you don't have to worry about a random ambush taking him out. He'd probably eat their bones for lunch.

Prepare for a siege next year.
I once had a gila monster diplomat start swimming in my river and it failed to fight against the flow for one whole year. Killed it when it went berserk and suffered a war next.

The funny thing is, it presented itself as a god of FERTILITY and WOMEN, and it had this image of its civilisation sewn onto its loincloth...........

Prepare yourself for the most boring siege of all time!

If my experience with humans is any indication, then they are going to show up, light a campfire, sit around for a couple months, and then leave.

Sorry, for a moment there I forgot we were all psychopaths.
Someone who has random urges to make mog juice isn't exactly going to care about the cost effectiveness of obtaining it.

That's what crossbows are for! They shall fight in the shade!

Seriously, human sieges are boring only if you made them boring. Its harder to break a human siege compared to a goblin one, due to their nature.

The fun part was when I made their assembly point my meeting zone, and you saw my dwarven children/animals rush towards them, only for them to fall back in panic as the human spearmen counter charged back.
