they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the raving confessions of a mass murdering cannibal from a recipe to bake a pie.
Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

well they don't if you go picking up dwarf chests.
but to new players yeah they will run out.
also this game feels like a house makeover sim. Every time I leave and come back I see different parts added to the original house. they recently converted my left entrance into a huge room with an attic. I love it the remodel but some times I worry they will end up making a platinummarble football stadium in my basement and accidentally summon The Slade Armoks for practice.

I Mean if you going to remodel atleast make a room so I can shove my Giant pet slime I take for walks.

You need a special pick for dorf chests :(

I got enough shit for a smelter, but thats about it.

But i shalt build a glorious house, as i stole bricks from the dwarves! (but i was not patient enough to bring them back to my house)

Having a bit of a volcano issue.

There is another on the left off screen. Every time one of them erupts the ground moves and there are huge cave-ins. When I say the ground moves I really mean it too. Once straight ladders no longer line up.

I finally got enough iron to make a pick and open the only dwarf chest I've found so far. Got a nice artifact sword but it's not strong enough to defeat dwarves sadly. Am I right in saying different chests need different material picks? I'm sure I read of someone using a bronze pick on one before.

This game is really awesome once things get going a bit.

Edit: So glad I brought the water ooze with me on this trip.

The ground opened up behind me and the tunnel filled with magma. Compare with the screenshot above to see what I mean (the ladder in the second shot goes up to where I'm stood in the first).

Impressive volcano event ongoing.
The amount of insanity due to cave-in in that game makes it very fun to play.

water thingys have uses for lava as make good stone when mixed.
Water on the other hand that launches you in to air and drops you in lava is annoying

On my map I needed iron for the only two chests I've found so far. I think it might be randomized a little somewhat like the crafting recipes.

hmm well then I just finally got a between worlds teleporter up and running and the next world it sent me was gloomy, it was a world filled with sandstone and the whole thing was underground. it was like I transported into some old Dwarven world that was long abandon. Makes sense since I got the last marble recipes from dwarves. welp did everything on the list in the game.

Was chillaxing with the underground dwarves, getting a brick house set up when suddenly they deploy a huge wooden T trough my house D:

Why are the dwarves called "underground dwarves" if you usually see them chillaxing in trees.

EDIT:

Oh god, i found a lava ooze ;_;

btw, what do you guys use dwarves for?
I just tear down their buildings to gain bricks and powder.

According to the post on gamedev.ru, this game also has demon lords, spiders, spider queens, some kind of 'darkness spawn', growing 'red roots', ores that get formed depending on temperature and pressure (or maybe it's forming of something unnamed depending on temperature and pressure OF the ores), scrolls that are possessed by dwarves, creatures that get born and die and sometimes increase their level. Also, it has an extremely idyllic description of what the player is supposed to do (gather resources, build smelters, forge swords, kill stuff) that SOMEHOW manages to overlook the entire scope of the insanity that this game possesses consists of. And among the developers he lists himself and his cat.

It's not out yet but a load of new changes have been announced.

Quote from: sb3dgraph
Seven hours ago I returned to my computer and worked very tight. Did anything planned for these days. In fact, here's a list of changes, they in fact are many and they are very important:

1. (Important) Removed the possibility to put wood stairs, doors and bricks.
2. The protagonist does not die from a fall from a height.
3. (Important) The protagonist can immediately jump high!
4. (Important) The protagonist can walk on walls and ceilings. Yes, he had a prosthetic leg in place. See how nimble are the pirates?
5. Instead of two artifacts in the version dated July 12, added the rest. Now they are in game 7 of artifacts.
6. With one of the new artifacts made the quest. He cursed, and only the king can removes the curse. Quest - to find the king.
7. Strengthened the opponents with an increase in their level, a lot of fine balance with opponents.
8. Added character - a blacksmith. He sometimes builds a forge, a smelter and grinder.
9. Smelter, forge, and grinding machine is no longer afraid of dampness and water.
10. (Important) Power foes sometimes drop bags in which either of the things owned by him or artifact.
11. Below the world map are now all in the lava.
12. Map of the world is slightly different in size and enlarged. Instead of 600*350 it is now 500*500.
13. The density of ores and creatures increase. This can cause poor performance.
14. Underground dwarfs all other skills and are able to build a teleporter in the world.
15. Elevated levels of scientists are not throwing bombs, but put the resonators.
16. Of the game cut the clay and torches.
17. Added the ability to build a sprcial drill to drill a horizontal corridors. Plus to already present the vertical drill.
18. A lot, a tons of minor changes! The entire balance is recalibrated!

I'm not exactly excited by a number of them :-\.
