Cmon, you just know something's not right when the bat looks old. Old creatures are never on the bad side.
I can't quite figure out the best course of action.
We need to make this oldman bat feel comfortable. Try to learn from him. Maybe he knows the hammer you found?

Askot, you said it yourself, we only took the crundles' side and attacked them, not the other way around. Don't lie to him.

repenting our past actions just means we don't want to repeat them, not that we have to be honest about them. i'm the reasonable neuron, not the morality neuron

Don't listen to the batman's heresies; hop on his back and get the Circus out of there, threatening to gut him if he betrays you.

Why not? He may saddle us with yet another side plot, otherwise how could he have known our name? Better shut him up, exploit him and then murder him in cold blood, trying to get rid of the hammer in the process.

For starters, It's neither a Goblin or an Elf.

He isn't Datan Koganurist. That means it's okay to murder him horribly.

Maybe we are? We woke up with amnesia remember?
I mean, we could be, or for all we know, that could be our father/mother?

No, I was bitten by a mosquito. Now I'm possessed by an undying urge to murder everything living. Due to difficulties inherent in doing so IRL, I stick to doing so in forum games.

makes sense to me, mosquitos are living creatures, so it technically justifies your hatred of living creatures... carry on

"... I... I am terribly sorry for that incident.
I just got attacked by others like yourself and thought you wanted to kill me, too..."

"I mean I just met you...
... and this whole thing is crazy...
... but I lost my memory...
... so forgive me, maybe?"

"I have seen it, Koganurist. I was there.
We left before you could finish it.
It was a trap for the blind one.
He came to these parts a few years ago and killed most of my kin.
You helped kill our strongest warriors... the last..."

"Truly... you are as strong as I remember you.
You were brave during the war...
... we fought side by side...
... against..."

Sanity is overrated. Make him shut up and hop on his back.
