Is this still alive?

Also, how about the living engravings? The hammer squished them effortlessly, so they're probably not much of a threat. However they basically popped out of nothing and were following us.

Could it be that this cave is near the fight area where we lost Doomy, the other side of the boulder?

That was a troll, the horns should be his own.

Okay, the goblin mentioned a plan to snuff the sun.

We have seen a few engravings with suns - one with our idol friend reaching up towards it with scary demonic hands, and another with a crocodile/dragon-looking thing about to eat it. Maybe a Cave Dragon? Whatever it is, it has our now-familiar pawprints as feet, and another set of the triple horns we saw on our idol.

We have a talking hammer now, who indeed has the face on our parchment. He seems to know a lot about our situation, too, so let's ask him about the idol, and the gemstome eye we pilfered. If he doesn't know anything about them, let's see if the gem fits in the indentation on the idol's face.

Actually, it's not possible to fit a helmet onto horns like that.

Neither it is possible to light a talking hammer on fire and then use it to fly around and smash living engravings. Your point?

What do you mean it's not possible? Don't talk nonsense.

PUNY MORTALS! THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING...

---

Had to take a little break, but I didn't forget you.
As a matter of fact I have read up on your theories and I quite like all of them.

Just don't get into a fight over little Koganurist's destiny  :D
Never thought this would get as much attention as it is getting now.
You guys are great, seriously.

Maybe I'll be bringing you an update tonight!

And the troll's not wearing a helmet, maybe these inconsistencies are due to the quality of my images  ;D

"So two elves walk into a bar..."

SILENCE!

There will be bloodshed, Koganurist!

Obtain the other gem stone before it is too late
We must slay which has many names

I will assist you in this cause
Beware its deadly secretions!

"What's 'which has many names'? Where do I find the gem stone? Could you elaborate?"

[...]

"Hammer... ? Hey! Talk to me!

[...]

"Ugh... I guess this means no flying..."

"Wherever it is, it's probably not down there. And screw that boulder, I don't have time for this!"

"Now what? Looks like I could climb up... but is it really worth the effort?
Where am I supposed to go now anyways? That hammer wasn't very specific."

I think before we should pick up something useless, like a piece of the goblin's brains, climb on the boulder, and try to slip it to the other side of it. So if we return to the fight area, we can recognize it is connected to the hammer cave.

And then climb up. After that, I'd vote for going to where the green-slime-oozing slug was. It's the only place we haven't explored yet.

Who agrees?

"He told me to hurry... but whatever. Worth a shot!"

"Didn't even have to climb that thing. My aim is getting better!"

"Climbed the ELF up. Now what?"

So, what... Down again? Cmon, it's obvious it is connected.

But, you are at the other side of the waterfall again, right?
I'd say to go past it again, across the river, past the manbats, and past the nest, and see what's there.
Assuming we don't run into anything on our way.

EDIT: I hate ninjas. Consider my suggestions, if those don't suit you, carry on upwards.

"So you are telling me to get out of the cave, climb down the waterfall
wander down the stream in search for the battlefield?
Then walk past it, look for the giant monster, then walk past it and then do... what?"

"Ugh... I guess you're only trying to help me.
Just don't wanna be smacked again by the damn hammer for side tracking..."

"... and what if it's the wrong way and we don't make it in time?"

"... wait a minute.... why do I care again?"

"Hmm... anyways... how am I supposed to get further up?
And you'd think that bat must've seen me by now..."

"... I'm confused..."
