Incidentally, the story (heavily abridged as it is) that [The Messiah] tells has three different versions in the three branches of the faith.

The main difference with the one [Kninh] tells is that the Adrani (Altani/Eldani) and the Piersyja are reversed in role; in the traditional version, it is the Adrani who encounter the Piersyja as slaves.

The Adrani version has the gods tell them to take the Piersyja as slaves of their own. For the Adrani (Free-men) are free, and all others are their slaves.

The Altani version has the gods tell them to sacrifice them in their honour. For the Altani (Free-men) are free to live, and all others are dead before the gods.

The Eldani version has them free them, and teach them their ways, and join their peoples. For the Eldani (Free-men) are free, and they must educate all others as that they too may be free men (Eldani)
