Also, insulting a duc: never a good idea, regardless of your job. Its the peer ranking, not your job that matters, and I doubt that Rangers can go around threatening people. They are just soldiers after all, not nobles.

I have read your bio, my character is just seeing yours as a defeated southern noble. Its not stupid as its how my character would act towards you, and being a Ranger at the time he'd have no clue you had sided with the North.

My character is a proud knight returning from pilgrimage, from his perspective you would just be some commoner seeking to earn money as a servant or something

It's just that a rapier is utterly useless against the heavy armor and the big swords knights wore in the medieval time.
