Perhaps pointing out your last post would help him out.

Just a question.

Would there be ANY technological advancement at all during our time of play? Like wooden cranes, etcetera?

Technology isn't exactly frozen, but guns will never develop during the period and setting in which the game takes place.  This was a deliberate decision to make the game more about politics than a tech race.

I will work on turns tomorrow if I get time, I'm going to basically be MIA for three weeks after that because I'm doing a production of Taming of the Shrew at the Edinburgh Fringe so other GMs will have to fill in.

I never wanted guns. Maybe smoke/explosive bombs, but not guns.

And will Windheath expand to take over the other Adranic nations, ever?

Ok, question here. I'm building my character, but I don't want him to be a Ninja Pirate Robot Zombie. He is already a Blacksmith Knight, so here comes the trouble: his family's backstory has them in a strip of land near the tundra, where they developed something of a relationship with the environment and the worgs that lived there.

Long story made short, I don't know if it would be pushing too much if my character had a worg whelp or a small worg (useless for combat purposes) with him. Answering beforehand: no, the small worg isn't part of my bio. I was just curious whether the idea is acceptable.

Also, on the matter of traits, which would be a good bonus for smithing activities? My character would still need the materials, so I'm still uncertain if +1 or +2 would be accepted for those checks.

I knew you'd post sooner or later Cael!  :P

You mean the worg is for fluff, then? I guess that's acceptable.

Tiruin, my character is looking for yours. Should I ask for an audience?

Up to you, but I'm wondering how you suspected Northwatch as the merchant's probable location. Your choice, though. It depends on what you write, and who you talk to, because I don't know you IC, at all.

It'd cost you a character point in build, but... frankly, you can get a whole personal guard regiment with that.  I'd be happy to let you have a worg whelp (most people might think it was just a wolf, were it not white).  I'd say either 3/3 hp and Bite +1 / Hide +1 as a separate character or it buffs your hp up to 6/6 and gives you a +1 Ally bonus.  See what Shoot thinks.

I'd say +1 to all metalworking rolls, really.  Interesting choice, but then it's no more obscure than some of the skills my character has.  Should leave you with an extra build point which you could spend on either being notable Nobility rather than a lay knight, or on weapon/armour skills, or just on a business (forge in town somewhere).

Oh dear. It seems I underestimated the size of a worg whelp, but then again I forgot how big they get. I suppose a puppy is the size of a dire wolf. That is hilarious, I was imagining a furball a little bigger than a housecat.

I think I'll be submitting my sheet soon.

What you should've said: Search for last known transactions.

Also, Caellath, get that worg. You'll be the only person in the realm who has a pet like that!

A full grown worg on it's own wouldn't represent a regiment, that would be an entire pack, and even if it's young it will grow up to be one, so it's sorta like one of the kings bravo's I guess.   Fully grown he could use it as a mount, which would be, what's the word... ah yes, fucking awesome.

Uhh yeah, I suspect exchanging one trait/resource slot for a worg seems nice and reasonable. I'll keep it there and check for approval.

And damn, now I'm curious to the size limits of a "slot" worg. Riding seems nice, but I guess it could take half a decade or more for it to grow enough to be used as a mount. How long can worgs live, after all?
