Now, my character, being a knight, faithful to the Conricht line, and sworn to protect his liege (Aka, the King), will of course want to avenge that smug bastard of Richard. Stupid, stupid character.

Well, this is not the same. It frankly made sense for Ardas to modifiy the invitation code, and if Shoot was clueless enough to see it coming, bad for him.

It's just that I had worded the thing incorrectly. I had forgotten Ascalon was technically a noble and not a knight - otherwise, I would a invited only major nobles (Richard would never invite what is basically a landless noble in an important state meeting).

Bio: Born in a large county of Donnerstein, cousin of the lord, he chose to become a warrior of the faith in his youth, when he realized he had no hope of going up the ranks in his current situation. Being relatively fanatic as a follower of the gods, he joined the Order of the Dragon, a small but very well reputed Holy Order based on the island of Drachengrab. Throughout the years, he rose through the ranks with quick speed, until he was elected this year as Grandmaster, following the other's death to a Haegar arrow. He is now fourty-eight years old.
After some time spent leading troops in battle, he has learned to keep his forces organized and efficient. However, he is not a particularly good tactician, due to the fact that he fights in all the battles he leads his troops into. He has also earned the reputation of never declining a challenge to a duel (which, while being supposedly mandatory for members of the Order, is rarely enforced or respected), perhaps due to the fight that he is supposedly unbeatable when he fights with a warhammer.
