So, Micelus just suffered a terrible defeat. For those wondering, here is exactly how and why such a disaster happened.
Firstly, he rolled relatively poorly on troop variety, which lead to him having only berserkers in his army. Secondly, he got two 1s (one of which was hidden to prevent any meta from anyone) on secrecy, which meant that Richard knew he was coming and he also knew what his army was made out of. Richard was near enough to intervene, since he was hiding in the foothills of the Silver Spire - the only hiding place in that part of the kingdom for an army.
Richard made the tactical choice to rush Osir's forces to stop him from using tactics at first, because he knew that forcing Osir's army on the defensive would be devastating. Because he got the same score as Osir on that roll, neither side could use any tactics until disengage - which favored Richard considerably, since he didn't need to.
After that, the battle played out. The Royal Army always beat the Haegars by more than five, so they took no damage from attrition, and poor rolls forced the Haegars to remain in combat for three rounds, which caused an absolute disaster.
So, that's what happened. Terrible luck on a dozen different things piled up, fell down all at once, and there you have the biggest defeat since the beginning of the game.
The troops Osir lost were all temporary raiders, so he lost no permanent forces, but most of the raiders are dead and gone.
