Anyway, the lack of a must have some consequences. Could we make the king an npc till Dwarmin's return or at least have a regent around in his place? I kinda really need access to the <highest authority figure> to continue with my plans.

Check the latest post.  A regent has been appointed and all lords are being called to Stormstead to recognise him/ratify the king's appointment.

OK fellas, as soon as Iituem or Shoot roll for my training with Theor, I will be ready to take over all of dwarmin's plotlines and duties for the time being. I will also open up the court session for Edgard's appointment.
I will also be adjusting the kingdom census, seeing how we lost 2 nobles recently. Both will probably be folded under the crown (I am not taking anything for myself, rest assured), along with any troops they have recruited.

BTW, Royal Bravos are king's bodyguard, right? are they just few NPC troops, or are they a full regiment?
