I make a lot of ice cold cat tallow-sicles to keep my dwarves cool. Other than that, a waterfall that I hopefully didn't mess up and drown my dwarves works as well.

My choice, if I win, is Binding of Isaac.

Man, hemmingjay you are both random and awesome!!

I'll keep my dwarves cool by covering them with mud and the chunk them into cryogenic chambers filled with liquid nitrogen until the heat is gone.

As with the choice of game, I'd really love Skyrim, but if that's too expensive I'd be more than happy with Hearts of Iron 3 Collection. If it's still too expensive, I'd still be more than happy with IL-2: 1946.

If I was going to keep my dwarves cool, I would...

1) Embark on a grass-land area.
2) Build the fortress deeep underground, and then dig ventilation shafts connecting with rivers, so there's running water pumping around almost every room, even if its floor cooling.
3) Accidentally mess things up, make a 2/7 water tile on every floor, lower level is used a river.
4) Dwarves are now cold from the continually flowing water.

As for the game, a copy of minecraft would be extremely nice.

Well first, I would place the dwarves above magma, since you know, dwarves love magma. Afterwards, everywhere else wouldn't seem so hot! This is how things work right? Make everything else bad so what you have is better? Otherwise, Arena battles where only swords and armor made of the finest ice are allowed.

This is pretty awesome of you!

I would build a pump stack to the sun and pour water on it, turning that horrible ball of blinding light and burnination into a beautiful orb of obsidian.  No more heat problems and no more sun sickness for the cave adapted.  The sun could then be smoothed and engraved, so that any dwarf can become ecstatic simply by looking up to the sky.

Might make the surface a little too cold.  Surface creatures might have a rough time of it.  This only means dwarves would become the indisputably dominant species, as they can just bring magma with them wherever they want some warmth.

This is my wishlist.  If I win, pick whatever you want from it.

I'd keep my dwarves cool by having them build entire closed off tunnel-ways throughout their fort that will be connected to underground water reservoirs, these tunnels would then, through an overly complex setup, have cool water constantly moving through the tunnels effectively giving their homes a waterbased air conditioner.

If I win I'd like either Shogun 2 Total War, or Empire Total War.
