Abandoned Buildings

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The short and skinny of it is this. I wander around my decrepit neck of the woods and take pictures of abandoned places. I sometimes find somewhat interesting scenes, and items.

Can. You. Dig it?

It's dangerous to go alone. Here take this.

Seriously, depending on where you're going I'd suggest bringing a few people with you. It's a cool project though. I'll be sure to keep an eye on it.

People would ruin the ambiance. It's nice being the only person around for miles.

...Is that a goddamn noose?! :o

Dude, that place might be haunted. Better bring Scooby Doo and the gang with you next time.

No, just bring a video cam mounted on a tripod running on good batteries.

Then leave it for a night.

Alternatively, just take pictures of it at night, bringing only a flashlight or a lamp with you.

Be very, very careful. You don't know what condition the structure is in, and a wrong move could wind you up with a broken leg ant a hole in the ceiling above you (if you catch my drift).

You can't live forever, I also believe there is an old steel mill around my area which I will try and find. I've also posted a few more pictures

It will take 4-7 days to die, you will be awake for most of it, the whole time you will be feeling the wonders of trauma induced blood poisoning, and rats will gnaw at you as you sleep.

Don't be stupid.

Well that certainly be an interesting way to go, wouldn't it?

If nothing else, let someone know where you are going, carry emergency supplies (i.e. bottled water, anti-biotics, food, first-aid), and don't leave home unless your cell phone is fully charged.

Cool pictures though. This sort of ambiance is probably one of the reasons post apocalyptic settings are so interesting to people.

Mainly the reason why I'm doing it.

I find no evidence of specters in your photographs. It would've been fun, especially that the ambience is spooking me out.
