Tribes of Cholgoris

(Another forum, I hear you say, Yes I reply another forum)

The lands of Cholgoris are huge, covered in vast lakes, open plains, huge forests, sky scraping mountains, mighty oceans and just about every land feature you can think of. The creatures are just as diverse, from wolves to giant spiders, cattle and grogs, lions and dragons, ogres, trolls, elephants, and the list goes on, but among these creatures are some with intelligence, these six races are the most intelligent of the species on the world of Cholgoris. First and most commonly seen are the humans, these are the most adaptable of all the races, next are the orcs, the dumbest, most vicious and warlike of all the races, the most numerous are the goblins, who while not the bravest or strongest, are incredibly cunning and very good at stealth, then come the dwarves, stout hardy folk who are known for their stubbornness and their great craftsmanship, producing fine weapons, and strong but beautiful constructions, the most reclusive but magical of the races are the elves, they are very proud yet quiet people who don’t often offer help, but when they do it is most valuable, then come the beastmen vicious beast with primal cunning, come have horse bodies some have bull heads but they  are all cruel malicious creatures. Now each race is still in a primitive stage, but that will soon change

OK stats, each out of five, intelligence is their tech level, strength is kinda obvious, magika is their magical ability, numeracy is how fast they breed and how common they are, allegiance is on a three neutral, one very evil, five very good, cunning is their ability to do sneaky things, bravado is their ability to do the impossible, and courage is obvious.
Spoiler: Races (click to show/hide)

I’m accepting six players, each to play as one race, its first come first serve, but I may add some more players later, you’ll each play as a tribe and can spend five points on the following stats for the tribe, to a maximum of three per upgrade
Technology
Numbers
Magical ability

These will be influenced by the race as well, so if you put three magical ability and you’re the elves expect incredible magic’s, using dice rolls for this and please post a tribe background as well

(you'll get more info later if this catches on)

Back story finishedish.

Can you perhaps give more information what what tech level we should be thinking about roughly? At level 6 I assumed at least some industry and stuff, but I am not sure.

Actually any information about the game would be appreciated. Other then how to sign up there is not really any. I'm not really sure what type of game it even is, but it looks pretty cool so far.

well level one is basically sstone weapons, tech level two is bronze stuff, level three stone, I'll give you a full sheet later, the game is basically where you try to forge an empire from a tribe through conquest, diplomacy, that stuff, industry perhaps, but youd only really find it on the dwarves or goblins, and even then its hard to get. You'll play as your tribes leader and conquer the world, any tech advances will be slow as the game will basically take place over a handful of years, you play as one tribe and their will be other non-playable tribes, a bit like playing civ but over a much smaller period of time

Note: Your tech tree is a bit strange. Basic steam power and basic flight in the same categories ?? Coal should be a prerequisite of steel.  The Steam pump allowed for advaned mining, gas storage is probably way to early, magnetism way to late (It was used by the Chinese, and in Europe several hundred years before gun powder).

I strongly suspect that intelligence and current level of tech is not the same stat, because else there are no really primitive races

Humans (Hey guys r ise creativezors)

3 into tech

1 into numbers

1 into  magic

Background on the Machine Singers

I suck at these

Uh essentially there was a guy who was taught machines when he met the dwarves and now he started a tribe. He created a tribe that seeks refuge from persecution of other Humans and that is pretty where he left off.

do try to put down a background, it doesn't have to be elaborate, but please it would be good, and ebbor, the tech tree is like that because I think it provides the most elaborate story opportunities (although I might change the compass), the level one stuff is for some wild tribes and there is a possibility to lose some tech as well. Just need someone to play elves

heres the magic tree, its just a basic view of what can be done and examples

The fortress and clan are named after the mountain range they are located in.
