But while editing the NPCs like that, you must have said items in your inventory to make this happen.
And they will be trabsfereed to the NPC, so we will loose some of the stuff while creating trading NPCs

edit: Just keep this in mind.
I'm aware. I can also set them up in creative mode singleplayer first and just copy them in.
That could work.. IF it works..

It wasn't actually planned to look like a duck. It just kind of happened when I was defining the prow, and I rolled with it.

Rather than turning three stacks of wool into beds, how about we dye it all white and coat the duckship with it instead?

With the currency system in, I might actually join the server :)
If I were to join, I would be all for an item based currency, it is a lot more immersive and you can loose your money when dying, too. I like the idea of having a risk involved with being able to purchase anything, anywhere. Take care to disallow people from directly selling mass amounts of sugarcane/paper (or similar items) for coins, they are way too easily farmed and basically ruined the economy of a server I once played on when the game was still in beta.

In any case, I won't have the NPC's set up initially to buy things. Probably I'll go with an initial payout to give everyone some cash and then for now an NPC that gives a small amount per day. We'll see. I'm working on getting that set up now but feel free to keep playing.

Is it just me, or is there a problem with the Minecraft Vanilla download?

If we are going to be building a market how do we feel about moving some of the buildings currently in the farm district into it, making more room for housing? The smithery, for example, and maybe a kitchen.

Fine with me. If a building would make more sense there, go for it. I figured we'd need to do that anyway for some things like the coffee shop.

Well it would make sense to have the smelter in close proximity to the smithy.
