I'm a bit unfamiliar with mod incompatibilities, but do you know if the Mo Creatures mod would fit in with this or similar modpacks?

After all, while gergtech and similar increase the grindiness of the game, Mo Creatures is the only one I've played with which actually succeeds in making the game more difficult [especially if the ogre and/or golem spawn rate is turned up].

as soon as mo creatures updates to 1.6.2 I'll see if it can be added.

Smart Moving seem to be updated.
Also any luck on finding a mod which disables creeper/enderman damage to the environment?

Smart moving has been in the pack since the last update man.

And no luck yet, though I'm still not convinced its necessary I did do some searching and did not find any for 1.6.2

Slight issue, NEI is still misbehaving so if you already downloaded the update replace your NEI file with this one: http://www.chickenbones.craftsaddle.org/Files/Old_Versions/1.6.2/NotEnoughItems%201.6.0.6.jar

If you haven't downloaded the client update yet, I've swapped the file in for you so no need to do that.

I'm getting issues with the pack. It freezes when I try to connect to the server. It just sits there eating 90% of my CPU and 700 MB of RAM. It does the same when I try to make a single player world. It just freezes, not even a crash. This is from a completely fresh install of minecraft and the new pack.

Did you try the optional java argument string in the install steps?

This looks interesting. I hope my laptop can handle it.
Is this server compatible with Optifine?

It worked, but the mods still cause me superlag. Unless Minecraft's performance improves, I doubt I'll be on this server. Darn.

Sorry. It is a fair number of mods. Did you try getting out away from spawn a bit?

Optifine ultra is INSANE. It went from lots of lag at Tiny to lag-free at Medium. Seriously, I thought Optifine Light was good.
